I see it as Naruto is drowning under the pressure of everything but with his friends helps get out of it but Sasuke doesn't have anyone which is why he is still sinking and drowning and Naruto is the only one that can save him. 2025-01-15 22:33:23 +0000 UTCI get leaders not wanting people to know he is Minatos child and I can't event empathize with the people in the village who are scared of him and ostracized him because of the fox (Keep in mind many people lost there loved ones and they have no idea if the fox was capable of reappearing randomly again.) But what is inexcusable is Naruto having to grow up on his own as an orphan. He should have been adopted by someone close to Minato or Kushina.

2025-01-15 22:18:11 +0000 UTCI think we were watching a different show because from what we saw she mostly saved the Shinobi and not very many of them at that. If a lot of civilians were saved it's because of the genin and other lower ranked ninja tasked with evacuating them through the secret tunnels. Tsunade only saved a portion of the Shinobu which would have been revived regardless of if they were saved or not. She is good for healing and could probably take on a couple of the pain puppets but that's it.

2025-01-15 20:30:46 +0000 UTCwell I do call it canon cause it factually is whether it is filler too or not doesnt really matter :D it is very interesting seeing all the politics and disputes following this aftermath :) unfortunately it does play into Danzo's hands :P lovely little scene with Shikaku and Asuma :) its great that they are giving us this extra background stuff :) I guess it makes sense to put Sakura with them since she is the most ordinary to balance it out :D Naruto using the Sexy jutsu against Sasuke was hilarious and ofc it had no effect xD this was a fun new perspective :) well you could say that now Sakura and Naruto have that brother-sister relationship :) what a blast from the past, Inari and Tazuna are back! its been like 4 years now when Naruto last saw them :D little Inari really grew up now he is a little man :) love that episode 180 was just an animation flex :D its THE OSTRICH! best character! xD kinda funny how Naruto was talking to that guy about revenge when you think about Sasuke and Itachi, like when Itachi taunted Sasuke about the lack of hatred...guess now Naruto understands better how silly he was back then as a child :P we got a bit of brotherly love there as well, episode 181 definitely feels like a nod to Sasuke :) Naruto acknowledging how he has learned a lot now and can understand Sasuke better that was dope :) it does feel like these eps are there for us to understand the past better and have a new view of things :)

All the adults in the village should have made sure Naruto was raised and cared for by all. What a disgrace honestly, they let down both the Uchiha boys too...

Not only does it fully canonize the Naruto-Sasuke ship, but the symbolism of Naruto drowning in despair as Sasuke stabs him, then being literally uplifted by his friends and launched into the air, then willingly diving back into the darkness with conviction in his eyes - it really is the heart of the story summarized in one beautiful OP.

In the manga she is far more tolerable which is why manga readers usually don't hate on her nearly as much as anime watchers do, if at all. Studio Pierrot *loves* Hinata and *hates* Sakura even going so far as to influence how Kishimoto wrote certain parts of the story, clearly & extremely obviously going against his original intentions. I mean, come on. Naruto doesn't even talk to Hinata about her confession once and her "fight" with Pain was 1 panel long in the manga. There is an obvious huge disparity here.

2025-01-15 19:04:29 +0000 UTCFor all of Danzos fault I think I should make 1 thing clear: When he talks about other people like the third Hokage being incompetent and similar stuff he is actually serious about it and he actually wants the best for the village. He is a despicable character, obviously, but when it comes down to it he just does what *all* Ninjas in this world are taught to do. It's people like Danzo who prohibit true peace from forming in this world and it is the cycle of hatred Nagato was talking about in action. Kindness = weakness and naivete in his eyes. And that is part of the Ninja code, detach yourself from all emotions. Become a cold-hearted weapon only out for succeeding the mission. He is naturally distrusting and as a Ninja, that actually should be his job, according to this world.. Kakashis teachings about teamwork are *not* taught to all Ninjas, not even close. The problem with Danzo is that nobody can actually truly detach themself from all emotions. It's the lesson Zabuza told us during the first arc. But the emotions which mainly drive Danzo are egotism and a big inferiority complex mixed with a decent amount of stupidity. But, and that's the point of this comment...even with these flaws he doesn't want any harm to befall the Leaf Village and his will to protect it is honest. Sure, he hid away while everyone upstairs was fighting Pain but he really couldn't expect that Nagato would be *this* powerful. From his perspective the option of no survivors being left alive wasn't even a consideration.

2025-01-15 17:22:27 +0000 UTCSakura makes sense to me being chosen for that team, having such a normal and easy life she really needed to learn a lot about what is really important in life, at the same time, while Sasuke and Naruto needed someone that could understand them, they also needed someone without so much trauma to balance it out. I think the 3rd's logic, based on his students, is that you can't have good ninjas/soldiers without them being good persons first.
