Koichi has an awesome place to live imo. Lots of privacy, lots of space on the roof, probably a good view, and let's be real. It has to be DIRT cheap.

‘Unfit to do hero work’ instantly rubs me the wrong way, but yeah, I get it, MHA society would probably respond like that to Stain’s quirk. That said, his ability actually does have potential applications in hero work! Especially in seize-and-capture situations or even interrogations. The real issue isn’t the quirk itself, but how it’s activated. And realistically, most villains get injured when being taken down anyway, so it’s not like his method is that far off from what pro heroes already do in battle. If anything, it seems narrow-minded to write his quirk off as inherently ‘unfit.’ Every hero has to learn how to apply their quirk creatively within the limits of the law and the situation—so why should his be any different?
I wonder if what we saw Stendhal do in this episode here was actually his quirk or maybe it was just supposed to be slashes without us seeing his katana in the same frames due to speed? The animation could go either way. The voice seems familiar for sure but I don't want to look the VA up to find out if it actually is Stain or not xD

Stendhal is giving me Stain vibes. Just throwing it out there but if I was to guess Stains back story, I'd say he wanted to be a hero like most kids but his quirk was likely deemed unfit for Hero work or his quirk combined with his own sense of justice caused him to fail the hero course. From there he decided to take justice into his own hands and become a vigilante but what will likely be explained in this series is how he realizes that the heroes are more corrupt then the villains and becomes the Hero Killer we know from MHA.

I was surprised to heard AFOs voice last ep as that was kind of a late series reveal. Also I think you’re the only reactor I’ve found to recognize his voice instantly lol

Stendhal was a french writer, best known for his novel Le Rouge et le Noir (The Red and the Black). The characters outfit seems to be based on that.

Stendahl instantly reminds me of Stain but instead of a hero-killer he is a villain-killer..? Interesting.

If you remember, in the first episode, she was watching Koichi during her performance. Koichi has always been her hero, and he never even knew.
