Yessss amazing!! I love watching your reactions so much - and you have very similar reactions to me when I first watched relatively recently which is so fun. (And I also love the pauses for this exact reason, you so often pause or do a small rewind on the EXACT moments that I would just to go “ooooh!” at my favourites, or if it’s a big group class shot to see what everyone’s doing)

Endeavor has issues with overheating and how that affects him in combat situations. He's spent his whole life dealing with the drawbacks/weaknesses of his Quirk so it makes sense when Deku talks about his weaknesses, Endeavor listens and thinks critically about what he needs to do about it. Its a feeling he knows all too well.

2025-05-24 22:07:17 +0000 UTCWhat I think I love most is just how perfect Endeavor's hero name is for his arc. It's not just an endeavor to become the strongest hero. That's how it started, and that's what consumed him and destroyed his wife and family. But now it's a different endeavor. It's the *infinite endeavor* of redemption and self-improvement. Doing better because it's what's right and what you need, not because you want or expect forgiveness. Forgiveness has nothing to do with it, and we can decide for ourselves whether we think he's earned it. But I'll be damned if he hasn't earned some respect for doing the work regardless.
