The wiki does have spoiler tags. However, a lot of the non-spoilery information is still knowledge that Klein does not know in the show. I do not regret reading and gaining knowledge. However, I know too much to be surprised. Its no longer a mystery for me.

Everything is so interesting! The pacing is a bit weird ngl, but i still enjoy everything, and in some ways the show makes it fun researching for more answers and details! I watch it on my own first, then enjoy it and find new things with flexie. I really appriciate that, it's fun!

2025-07-21 04:39:03 +0000 UTCI feel the 13 eps really screw the production team over in how they handle scenes selection and sacrifice certain character developments and given how much chapters they have cover is bound to hurt the qualities of the story telling. It just lead to a lot of fast cuts and not enough time for the story to breath. A show is a different medium than books, so the way you explain to the audience is different, it really need more reinforcement visually for certain cues and plot point information to sink into the audience. Right now the flush out of the shows are drop in the hands of fan channel to create supplement materials to get new folks catch up which is very unfortunate. I still say when this show was announce, 24 eps would have been a better way to deal with the 1 season of the show, but I bet Tencent mandate they don't go over budget since 13 eps of this high production isn't cheap just imagine 24 of them. Even after all my personal gripes, I still very happy with the show, scenes are so beautiful that it actually surpass my own imagination of what they could have done. I never thought this novel could transition into any other medium, but now I am more than happy to have it compare to not having it at all. It took me a second read through of the novel to get most of the stuff and information, even now I am still learning new things from other veterans readers about the story, so the production team needs to be applauded for able to do this much under these circumstance.

The creator was the first being, the one whose eyes became the sun and the moon, and from whom all magical creatures and humans were born. It can get confusing since so many groups use the word creator, but people outside the Aurora Order don't think the True Creator is the creator that created the world. Basically, they just grabbed the most outrageous name imaginable and ran with it. Primordial demoness believers believe she came from the creator in the most distant past, not from whatever the Aurora Order serves. Aurora Order is a relatively new organization, while the Demoness sect is older. The quote "To learn this technique, one must first castrate oneself" is from a famous, old Chinese martial arts story. So it's Klein comparing it to a story he used to know in China.

2025-07-20 16:53:01 +0000 UTCSomehow watching these Episodes, as they progress, I feel a little bit of melancholy. While the episodes are stunning and visuals are gorgeous, it feels incomplete in comparison to the novel. Not to be misunderstood, seeing the story come to life makes me happy, but the suspense, the slight horror as Klein learns about the world he has be thrown into and the mysteries that he (and the reader) discovers as he progresses cannot be displayed by this adaption. The slow burn feeling, about what is behind the next corner, awakes complete other emotions as a fast paced, action showing adaption. Nevertheless i am looking forward for the next episodes as the World displayed is marvelous. Sorry for the rant.

2025-07-20 13:18:48 +0000 UTCIn the novel It was explicitly mentioned that potion name "Witch" was feminine form of the noun as opposed to gender netural nouns like "Seer","Assassin","Instigator" etc. So when you move to seq 7 of Assassin pathway you have to be born female or potion will change your gender

2025-07-20 12:46:59 +0000 UTCVery impressive catch on Tris might be the female that walked out from the building! & yes, she was holding her left arm because Tris (actually Trissy now) got shot on the arm during the underground market chase. Also another impressive catch on the Alfalfa incident. The opera was dedicated to Tris for ‘saving’ the remaining crew and bringing back the ship + bodies from the incident. The flashbacks were indeed the parallel to show us the actual incident. In the novel, Tris only became a woman after drinking the seq 7 potion after escaping his pursers, the sex change wasn’t supposed to work immediately like here hahahah. That will be super crazy but I guess it works for the anime to flow smoother! Your reaction was super on point and accurate! Cheers!
