Yeah, I wonder if it is the whole eye or maybe like contact lenses? But the retina is the main part of your eye so who knows! Lol. But yeah so far, on the numbers weapons, we have: Numbers Weapon 1: Gen’s eyes, basically the Sharingan lol Numbers Weapon 2: these are the gauntlets Director Shinomiya used to box with Kafka last season. Numbers Weapon 4: it mentioned really quick this episode that Shinomiya’s mom uses Numbers Weapon 4. Excited to see if we’ll know what they did with Kaijus No 3, 5, 6, and 7.

2025-08-06 22:32:06 +0000 UTCI am so happy they didn't drag out his trauma for a full season, because that would be one of the oldest and most boring tropes in anime. Instead, he pushed those feelings of doubt and insecurity aside and decided to just do his job and allow his companions to do the same. So now he can go full bad-ass and join the ranks of those he admires so much as some kind of a secret weapon against the increasing strength of the Kaiju. Love it!

A lot of the male characters have this vocal distortion when they talk and it sounds like they are way too close to the mic. Doesn't really detract from the episode but I'm curious if it will continue on
