If it's a ton of action and little plot, that makes it prime movie territory. They'll have the interest and budget available to go all out and end the series off with a movie or two

2025-09-09 01:51:05 +0000 UTCkaiju no 8 pacing is kinda weird. imo either they will do 2 more shorter seasons or just 1 longer season 3 to finish the story. Season 1 had 12 episodes and adapted chapters 1-39 Season 2 is going to have only 11 episodes (since for some reason they count the hoshina day off OVA as an episode) with the current pace at the end of EP 5 we are up to chapter 55. so i think S2 will end around chapter 75-80. which leaves around 50 chapter to go (129 total) and since alot of the ending chapters is a bunch of combat you could probably squeeze more into episodes.
