2025-09-08 03:04:54 +0000 UTCThe old samurai looked like he was wearing a mask to me. I didn't think it was a kaiju face, but I could be wrong. I'm just guessing, really. I assumed it was meant to be the spirit of a dead samurai and the red eyes were just signifying "spectre". I like little moments like that. Moments to wonder about. What does it mean? Is it a kaiju? A ghost? both? Is it an enemy or an ally? lol, so many questions arising from a scene of a few seconds. I hope all the pieces start coming into place soon. We appear to have all our pieces at least approaching the board. We have the semblence of a team to take on the greatest kaiju threat. It's time to kick it into the next gear. btw, I say, "the greatest kaiju threat," but let's not forget whomever no. 9 was talking to at the end of season 1. Is he the greatest threat? My dodgy memory tells me he was working for someone else.

2025-09-07 18:17:34 +0000 UTCI’m glad they ended the episode on the samurai scene, as a manga reader, to me it signifies the “shift” in the series. Also, it’s hilarious that they spoiled that Kaguragi and Izumi aren’t gonna be in the rest of this season 😭😭😭
