And he's still growing stronger as time passes. Insane if you think about it. Yes, Okarun is faster when he goes full throttle, but that's about it. Evil eye has more strength, can take way more punches, and his endurance seems almost inexhaustible. How on Earth will Okarun ever win a fight against him? He can't keep pretending to be stronger forever.

I’m not great at Japanese so I’m only doing the ones I know more or less lol. Ore no namae ha (wa) Sakata Kinta = my name is Sakata Kinta Robotto ga daisuki da. Shinu hodo suki da. = I love robots, I love them to death Ore ha robotto = I’m a robot Kimi mo robotto = you’re a robot too Robotto daisuki = I love robots Dore kurai ka tte? Gohan yori mo suki. = how much you ask? More than rice/food On the right side, I know Science fiction tte imi nanda ze. Shiranakatta daro? Ore ha shitteiru ze. = what does science fiction mean? It's a great standalone series in the franchise, maintains the heart of the franchise, and it doesn't have any connection in universe to the other older massive series. It's a fantastic entry point

2025-09-16 15:27:55 +0000 UTCAlmost all the billboards momo throws are ultraman jokes or references. And the great kinta bodisatva transformation sequence pulled from a ton of Sentai and mecha sequences. I think some one counted like 6 or 7 show references.

2025-09-16 14:48:28 +0000 UTCI appreciate that the show gives initially unlikeable characters a time to shine and save a dire situation, like Aira the stereotypical popular mean girl showing off her kindness to save Acro Silky and now Kinta the antisocial geek who gets to come in clutch with his hobbies giving them a way to keep on the fight.

2025-09-16 13:36:49 +0000 UTCYou should really check out any of the more recent Gundam series. Very similar to 86 in themes of warfare, plus politics and drama. Witch from Mercury and Iron Blooded Orphans are two really good ones. Alot of the Gundam series also take place each of their own universes so you can pick and choose if you're ever curious. Also Godzilla Minus One is an excellent movie that happens to have a Kaiju in it. Glad you're back and take care. ☺️
