Well all the adults agreed no? I didn't get the feeling he was being made out to be a victim but as you said he was showing remorse. And you can blame his parents and sure perhaps he is a victim by the situation, but he also made choices (out of fear) and yeah the entire thing is shocking. BUT - if it wasn't for Deku seeing the potential in this, and doing something as crazy as using this to their advantage, it can also allow this family to BEGIN making up for what they have caused. Thank you Eraserhead for seeing the potential in what Deku was suggesting.

2025-10-01 01:33:31 +0000 UTCThis show is trying really hard to make Yuga Aoyama out to be a victim, but I'm not buying it, sorry. Yes, the situation his parents put him in was absolutely horrible. But he directly assisted in the mass murder of god knows how many people and even assisted in multiple attacks that almost got all of his friends murdered as well. And he knew fully well what he was doing. To then cry about how hard it was for him all that time and feel sorry for himself doesn't exactly make things better. And when he was caught he even fired the first shot at his best friend in an attempt to get away with it and escape. Now, I understand he's feeling remorse from what he's done and that's a really good thing. But they're in a full-fledged war right now and they're still burying dead bodies everywhere. This isn't exactly the time for forgiveness and mercy. Not for him, and especially not for his parents. Maybe, after everything settles down and he has paid for his crimes and treason there's a path forward for him, but things like that shouldn't even be discussed right now. But then again, that's me being an adult about it, which isn't how one should approach this show. I do get that, lol. I just wanted to give my 2 cents on this issue, though.

Truly the amount of guilt and misery he's gone through this whole time.... haha he went from a character i was neutral about to becoming much more liked >:3 give me traumaaaaaaa nyehehe. Tortured characters, my beloved π but also yeah its p dark and fucked up. So glad horikoshi included it tho!! This was a delightful watch!!! Tbh the music (you've prolly noticed they've used some tracks we haven't heard before) and the expression/artwork/linework/animation goes SO hard this season along with the emotional moments--like yuga and midoriya crying, midoriya speaking to him, the gorgeous colouring (and reveal!) of invisible girl, even the first two episodes the linework for star and stripe was just... its beautiful. it looks so much more accurate to the manga than it's looked in any other season (no hate to other seasons i love all of them!!! I just went bananas when i saw the animation for s7 cause ive read the manga and seen these panels). Which is part of why it's my fav season.... but its also cause so many threads are being woven together and coming to their peak! And it's just. On another lvl. Satisfying in a way that only arcs coming to a close/climaxes playing out can be. And then horikoshi just.... argh!! I wont say more. Anyways yeah. It's good. I love it. I look forward to seeing the rest of ur reactions to s7 (and ur reactions for s8!!! Can't wait to watch episodes with u and the chat finally!!) π€π€π€

2025-09-30 03:01:32 +0000 UTCNow that he's been revealed as the traitor, I wanna say that back in the day when the idea was first brought up there were people making theories about Kaminari being the traitor, that would have been based on circumstantial details and the idea he was pretending to get dumber from overusing his quirk. It was crazy having those theories, followed by years of the traitor not being brought up, then this reveal blindsiding a lot of people.
