Love that they use Gundam sound effects when the backhoes battle. I couldn’t believe we got a mech battle in episode 1...it was as awesome as it was out of left field.

2025-10-06 20:04:22 +0000 UTCThe opening drumbeats of the OP are kind of like a military march, but goes into the song and the kids playing, which is kind of like the past history of the countries, or at least the immediate history. It shows the peace after the war, but everything isn't sunny and happy, because Handler, Fiona, Franky and Yuri aren't playing in the sun, because there's still a cold war going on and the adults still need to deal with it. There are a lot of ways to interpret the scenes, and it might help to know the lyrics, too. Also the title has the "x" of "Spy x Family" suspended between the words, kind of like a swing, or like Anya holding hands with Loid and Yor.

For me,The Song of this third season is full of feelings, we could even say nostalgia and sadness, but how beautiful it is when four lonely souls come together to give light to their lives like Loid, Anya, Bond and Yor. Especially starting from 29:28 Anya holding baby loid's hand and then yor smiling at him, it feels like they're giving a refuge and love to little loid who was left alone, it's so emotional because in the end he now has his little family ALSO THAT ANYA PLAYING WITH BABY LOID BABY YOR and BABY BOND,OH MY GOD THIS SCENE DEEPLY TOUCHED ME, IAM CRYING😭 BTW:Here is the link to the official MV. have EngCc recommends that fans enjoy it. スピッツ / 灯を護る Spitz / Protect the Light https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn6evNNykVI

2025-10-06 19:10:14 +0000 UTCI like to think of the OP as Anya helping lead Loid and Yor to a more innocent time. I think you're right about most of the other kids being Anya's classmates. You see the one big kid from the dodgeball game and Damian's friends (tall hair and bowl cut). The gun amongst the toys does seem dark, until you notice that it is actually a water gun.

2025-10-06 13:55:20 +0000 UTCI am truly very excited for season 3, very definitely my second most hyped show after mha this season....and I do love the OP absolutely so much (I know a lot of people love the second one but I think this is my favourite....it just has that innate feeling of spy family)....honestly yes lol Franky desperately needs a win....neither the East nor the West deserves him my GOAT. Looking forward, i think a lot of people are expecting this to be the best season so far.... they've really taken their time with making this look very polished and the plot we're gonna see is one of my favourite parts in the manga for sure. (also yes we all always get your Naruto joke.....and I kinda laughed with what was written on the eraser too lol.....Sugoi Eraser xD)
