has anyone realized that the repulsion quirk (the one AFO is using to fly with the rings by his feet) is Shigaraki's original quirk before AFO took it and replaced it with decay Makes it even more clear since The 7th user has a float quirk

Bakugo having his hand in his pocket touching that card so much just 😭 excuse me what the fuck that's heartbreaking. anyways haha fun fact, the manga readers waited like a year to get confirmation that bakugo wasn't permanently dead! It was a wild wild time. I remember the fandom collectively losing their shit when bakugo came back (counting the days of how long bakugo had been dead had become kind of a thing in the fandom too lmao)--and with such gorgeous manga panels. BUT THEY EXTENDED THE SCENE HERE!!!! ITS SO COOL!!! I LOVE THE SCENE EXTENSIONS THAT THEYVE ADDED IN S8!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 loving ur s8 reactions, see ya next week!!

Right or wrong it brings some great thought exercises into the show. One tidbit i love is that when AFO talks of his "Golden Era" the visual we are given is one of the 5th OFA user, Diagoro Banjo, showing that even at the height of the chaos and evil running rampant there was still the embers of good fighting back with what they could.

2025-10-11 23:45:29 +0000 UTCMy theory is that the vestige of All Might that Bakugo sees before he dies is an after effect of the failed one for all transfer back in the Heroes Rising movie. Which may have had an effect on him and helped him get his quirk awakening first when he got impaled defending Deku back in season 6 and then before his 'death' in season 7 when he tried to blow up shiggy. This glow is, in my opinion, his awakened quirk.

Such an amazing episode, it really feels like its only going to go up from here! The staff who've been working on this series for nearly 10 years at this point are showing ALL their love they've had for it over the years for this Finale. Bless Horikoshi, bless the animators, and bless this absolutely wonderful series!

Imo you cant say "The movies have no impact whatsoever on the series" and then be like (But ignore the parts of the story that are). If Melissa and Star and Stripes are from the movies and have an impact on the story theres no reason Bakugo couldnt of had a connection to All Might through OFA when he said goodbye in S7.

2025-10-11 14:51:21 +0000 UTCTo answer your "what is that" for the light coming down to Bakugo's All Might card, for me (but everyone can find his own meaning) it's just to show the legacy of All Might. You see All Might on his path, leaving some golden lights, Bakugo and Deku get one each, being All Might cards, but representing mostly their admiration for him, their love for him, and their desire to become like him (and even stronger). That's why All Might is seeing them running on their path with that light with them, and then the transition with the light rising and ending on the card that Bakugo is still holding is to show that it's what make him how he is, what fuel him to improve, and it's just like a response to everyone that is helpless to save All Might, Bakugo's here, he ran his path with All Might lights and now he has to save him. And the look Deku and him are sharing, this scene is awesome. One thing about what you say, the movie being canon and Bakugo having like an ashes of OFA, I can't agree with it cause it would make no sense for manga readers (I'm one). The movie are cannon in a way that some character are shown afterwards but the main things of these movies is they have no influence on the story line of the show (except for the american girl) and there were never any mention of Bakugo having OFA for a short time, so it would make no sense to add it now. I prefer to think that the show stays in the line of the message it's saying since the start : All Might was here to save everyone, with a smile, and to be a model for everyone. So it make more sense to see it as All Might's legacy echoing through Bakugo, than ashes of OFA from the movie. And for last, hearing you talk about all the details and the golden baby, it's nice to see you remember those stuff right now. Won't tell you anything about the details, but be sure you'll get answers that will clear your idea of the timeline.
