The Queen album cover art was painted by a friend of mine, Kelly Freas, famous for his science fiction and other art. A member of Queen, Roger Taylor, was a fan of Kelly's art, and asked for a cover based on a Freas painting titled The Gulf Between, which originally appeared as a cover of Astounding Science Fiction magazine in 1953. I'm glad that the show reproduced the cover accurately.
