The ED is so bittersweet because it shows what could’ve been, but never happened since Koichi died. I think your next Japanese series, 飴色パラドックス(Candy Color Paradox), will be a happy one. But I agree, with the other shows you are currently watching, Never Let Me Go and Till The World Ends for example, you will definitely still need tissues for them.
