Weekly Status Report

Good evening,

already friday again, before it get's too late I'll want to give you another review of my past week.

As written in my last report I started this week on Tuesday and began with fixing bugs that you reported to me over the holidays. A fixed version was then released Tuesday afternoon.

Right after that I continued with editing Arianna's 2nd pose which I wasn't able to finish before the 0.6.0.5 release. And yes, it turned out that postponing editing it until after the update was the right decision. It took me two full days and a lot of nerves to get it to a state where I was somewhat happy with it. I also edited one of the images of the already implemented animations again to fix a dislocated shoulder on one of Arianna's images. 
Even after all that time editing I wasn't happy with one of the animations, but I've now decided that it has to be good enough... I just couldn't do any better right now. I might try again in the future, but I can't spare more time working on this.

After that I went back to working on Bianca's defeat animations. I started working on them before 0.6.0.5 but wasn't able to finish them (originally my plan was to add them in 0.6.0.5 but when I figured out that editing Arianna's images would be such a nightmare I postponed working on them). So now I went back to it and finished the last missing animations. 
In the process of implementing them I noticed that some of the currently existing animations for Tia & Lyvia are in some regards unstructured. Especially the scene with the orcs in the forest is a complete mess in terms of structure. I've now added Bianca's images to that but currently still without dialog. But loading and playing the scene works already. I also want to expand that a little since Lyvia was left out for the most part and without Tia in group the scene was pretty much nothing.
I will also work on the scenes with Brigands and grey orcs as well as rogues.
This however will still need some more time and since the plan was to update to version 0.6.0.5b today, I've now decided to work on the repeatable version of Arianna's new scene first. With this now as the main priority, I hope that I can release an updated version later today (probably with only partly implemented defeat scenes, this means the animations will play out but most likely without additional dialog for Bianca for now).
A version with added dialog will then come early next week.

Good, when that is done there are other goals for the coming week. I want to talk about them a little now. For the 0.6.1.0 release the main focus will be on the story again. This means it is time to bring some life into the Darkholt map. The map is already prepared to be taken upside down and that is what I will work on in the coming week. There are also some scenes I have in mind already. 0.6.0.5 came a bit short in terms of sex, that is something I want to fix in 0.6.1.0. I already have a clear endpoint for this update in mind, but getting there will require a lot of work in the coming weeks. I will try to prevent spoilers of the story in my coming reports even though that is always difficult when trying to tell you what I've worked on.

Anyway, now back to working, I hope that I can finish 0.6.0.5b before it get's too late.
