GOAL REACHED!! One Hoarders Sim-onymous set coming right up!
Added 2020-04-04 21:43:52 +0000 UTCWE DID IT!! 75 patrons!! Is this real life?!? I want to start by saying how much I appreciate each and every one of you. Genuinely, this is a dream to me! I am an electrical engineer by day and what first got me into the field of engineering was wanting to work for Pixar. Fast forward 10 years and I am designing antennas for a living where I have little ability to express my creative side. Ever since I started making CC last year I really got a spark back in my life I was missing and this is truly my passion. Sometimes I even wish I stuck with my original career path, but alas $75k in student loans will prevent me from switching fields. So this is truly a a dream come true and your support will allow me to offer and create even better CC with less restrictions. Thank you, thank you!
Now onto the set deets! I have already created the six items shown below which include:
- Shelving Unit (holds the storage items)
- Classic Storage Bins
- Cooler (to store food)
- Toolbox (to store upgrade parts etc)
- Soil Bags (to store gardening items)
- Junk Box
None of the items are restricted to what they can hold so you can use the toolbox to store food if you heart desires... but my goal was to make items that would be "in theme" with what would be stored in them. I am going to add five more items to this set and you all get to choose what those are! The items already made aren't the most aesthetically pleasing - my thought was it would be a good set for a utility room/basement/garage. But especially with tiny homes I am sure integrated storage would be much more appealing! Specifically some ideas I have are:
- Small trinket box
- Photo box
- Large trunk (maybe like the Let's Get Trunk or a different style!)
- Kid's themed storage item (hidden in a stuffed animal toy?)
- Fruit bowl for the kitchen
But these five new items are up to you! Please let me know any other wants you have or if you really like my suggested ideas. Again, all of the items have the same ability to store any item... up to you if you want to use it to store everything in one item or use them all to categorize your inventory (I am a sucker for organization!). This is your call! I could probably wrap this set up in a day, so as soon as I get feedback I will get to work so you all can have this in your hands!!

But that's just my way of playing :) I would rather need a painting storage. Also, related to the storage but I don't now if it fits here, I would really like shelving that is big enough to hold the jungle adventures artifacts, most are too small, the get famous one only had 2 slots for them and the jungle adventures looks stupid and has too few "big" slots. Keep it up, love your work (sorry, pressed send by accident)

2020-04-05 06:05:54 +0000 UTCHow about a box filled with holiday decorations? It could be used to hold arts/crafts like the holiday crafts from the kids' activity table. Or it could function as a decorations box (the attic stack from seasons)! It would look really good on the storage shelf!

I definitely love the idea of the fruit bowl and a storage system geared towards kids...maybe even convert the storage cubes from your DIY Cubby set for their storage. 2020-04-04 22:13:28 +0000 UTCYeah the fruits and veggies from the garden! It’s nice to keep them in the fridge but a fruit crate would be so cute. Or even those fruit baskets you can hang from your kitchen ceilings or under cabinets! Somewhere sims can grab an apple “on the go”
