200 Patron Goal Set Update!
Added 2020-05-01 17:21:51 +0000 UTCI cannot believe we are approaching 2 hundo patrons... you all are bringing so much positivity to my life in these crazy times - thank you!! As my 200 patron goal I promised this stair cut out set. I have been working on it and I am running into some roadblocks :(( I still think it can be done, but for the time being I am going to push this back to my next goal when I have more time to work through the issues I am having. I could get it done now, but it just wouldn't be up to my standards and I don't want to deliver something I know I could do better on. I hope you are all okay with that - I am really sorry!!
As an alternative, I was thinking I could make you all collection of vanity, bathroom, and desk clutter to go with my upcoming sets! I know this is not the most innovative idea, but if you haven't noticed my sets tend to lack clutter. Before I created CC, clutter was my fave. I loveddd cluttering up all my sims spaces to make them look lived in. As a creator, I really love doing new things, pushing boundaries, and challenging myself so I tend to get a little bored making clutter and end up not doing it cause I get so excited to start my next project.
So this is an act of true devotion and love by offering up a clutter set for you, even though its not as unique as some of my other sets ;) I have lots of ideas for clutter and one thing I also want to do is revamp the 'More Views' station from the Get Famous EP. Split off the recording station from the computer and add the ability to upload videos from a regular computer. For those of you who don't have this EP I have included a picture below what it looks like. I am going to put my own spin on it and I will make it base game compatible so if you don't have the EP you can still use as clutter.
I also plan on doing items for the shower (caddy, shelving, soap etc) and lots of makeup stuff! I also have two computers in mind I want to do.
So what do you all think of this idea? Love it? Hate it? I want you all to be happy and your contribution feel worthwhile so please let me know if you want something else or if you have a specific request for this set!
PS: I Included a superrrr WIP of the vanity/desk combo. The slots are done and still have a lot of finishing things to do, but the desk/vanity aspect of it is working and you can test out how it looks and places in game. Hope this gives you an idea of how some of the clutter could be used with this item. It can be found under desks or by searching 'test'.

I think this is brilliant! Anything you come up with is totally amazing though. :) What sounds silly is I was thinking about this as I have that shelf to use to put on clutter etc, do you think you could make a tutorial for us dorks like myself who can't figure out how to make it work?! I can't find out any real information on how to properly use it so I can clutter up my Sims' spaces and use all your amazing stuff!

I've been following you for quite some time now and I'm so glad I can officially support your work :) I like the More Views project the most, the current setup is too bulky and isn't the most realistic for game play especially if the sim isn't that rich yet. (Afaik, it costs 2500ish) For reference, the cc-maker grimcookies has a similair "streamer set" with a PC, mike, camera, and lightbox, but theyre just deco items. Would be nice to be able to start small as a "vlogger" on a simple computer/setup. All my love from the Philippines!

Like @Strive wrote not everyone who loves tech wants their homes to look like a spaceship. This! So I love your idea with the combo soo much. I also love your idea to create more bathroom stuff. I saw the picture of the new shower and it looks wonderful. In combination with your pegboards filled with clutter, this project will be super fine. At most, people might have a desktop and a laptop, but I shouldn't need a whole wing of the house dedicated to vlogging lol. I had the same thought but you're right, without hours and hours of custom animating it wouldn't work. But man, I'd love to see an update someday where sims can sit and record, or even stream computer games. They're adding a sim version of Etsy in the Knitting pack... maybe Twitch will be next! π

People donβt have a specific computer dedicated to just uploading and editing videos... so thatβs my plan to add that functionality to regular computers and split off the other part. 2020-05-02 00:03:25 +0000 UTCI've never seen a sim animate with anything other than the computer. They just stand in front of the camera and talk. If memory serves, the only interaction apart from editing on the computer is to adjust the color of the lights, so that entire side of the desk is a decoration for them to talk at. To be honest, I hardly ever use it anymore because of its shape. It's so difficult to place in a way that's both functional and aesthetically pleasing! Separating the objects or even just making it into a regular 90-degree L shape would be sooo helpful. I'm excited to see what your spin on it will look like. EA should know that not everyone who loves tech wants their home to look like a spaceship!

It looks like the coding is set up for the microphone to be moved but my sim never used it. Do the sims every touch the objects (outside of the computer)? Or do they just stand in front of it

That's typically what takes most of my time when I'm doing a house because I want it to look lived in and "finished," (that and filtering through all the 120+ GB of CC I have to find the perfect look ππ€¦π½ββοΈ) Lol.

That's what people love about what you release - not only are they usable by so many different players' styles, but they function beautifully and are of nice quality. With that said, yayyyyy, I LOVE clutter, I do have about 150gigs of cc, sooo, that says something. Really excited to see whatever you release. Keep being awesome.
