WIP - Add ons to shop chef!
Added 2020-09-07 17:39:46 +0000 UTCSo this was fun to figure out how to do!! Since I started on the shop chef journey, getting hot, ready-to-eat food was a goal. I didn't add the buffet originally because I wasn't sure how to do it.
I considered making a buffet table with food inserts, or just making a bunch of different buffet tables and I didn't really like either option. So two weeks of playing around and I have it figured out!
One buffet table will let you choose how to stock it, and then from there you can buy food depending on what category you choose. In the video, I haven't added the options to actually buy the food yet... it was a beast just trying to figure out how to add the different buffet types in one object.
But I am soooo stoked I got it working! I can only do up to 4 buffet styles per object... I plan on making the smaller side pieces (chevron pattern) have things like dessert/appetizers and bigger/main courses for the wide buffet. I randomly choose breakfast, texmex and italian but do you all have any requests for buffet type?
The food you see in the object is essentially deco to show what type of food is available, but I will make tons of purchase options to actually buy. So think big themes! Someone mentioned kids cafeteria foods which I liked.

Oh an Asian one would be awesome too!! I'd like multiple types of Asian ones so I could make a Chinese buffet!
