House About That Play House Door
Added 2020-10-19 22:40:50 +0000 UTCThis has been a WIP for awhile with many iterations and different implementations. I ended up making this a "door" that you can place on any wall so you can build your own playhouse however you want! You can build a treehouse or make a small play house indoors - the sky is the limit!
This is a base game compatible object usable by both toddlers and children. Up to 4 sims can play in it at one time. Any sims playing in it together will build relationships while also increasing fun and social stats. This can be used autonomously or by directing your sim to play in it.
While playing in the "tent" (I use this for lack of a better word since you can build anything with it) the sims stand still, so there are no animations during the action itself. So it is best to build something so you can't see the inside while they play.
This also works like a door when you aren't using it as a play house, so your sims can access anything behind it and walk through it as if it were a door.
In the preview video, I used it in a treehouse which my dear friend and builder SummerrPlays built for me. I have those tray files for download here.

2020-10-22 00:31:13 +0000 UTCso because it is two stories, i had to save it as a lot and not a room. trust me i tried!! if you want to add it to an existing lot you would need to make it one story and save as a room. you just would need to readd the base or leave it ground level after you added it to the lot. i think saving it as a room also deletes the roof, but im not positive.

2020-10-22 00:06:52 +0000 UTCyes tray files are lots/rooms! so you download the tray files, unzip and then put all of those files in your tray folder (similar to putting packages in your mods folder). then you can go to your gallery in game to find the treehouse!
