Brilliantly encapsulates British humour with the pomp, ceremony and sense of duty with the wedding mixed in with Mark’s huge sense of reluctance and foreboding of the misery headed his way if he ultimately goes through with it, but ultimately bottling it in the end as it’s the British way to do!

2023-06-25 15:19:00 +0000 UTCThis was originally written as the finale of all of peep show as the 5th series wasnt even commissioned yet, it wraps up the entire 4 series of the sophie/mark story line and puts mark and jez back at the start. Personally I think s4 was peak peep show, series 5 was still good solid but the later series never really returned to its best, the odd standout episode but it's mostly just average for peep show and even some pretty bad episodes honestly. still, 'bad' peep show is still pretty good
