Crossdressing Dormitory 48

There’s nothing strange in sight, right? Erick asked himself, taking another look around his room. Everything that was too lewd was stored in the closet and there was nothing that could make Boy Skirt sensei uncomfortable. I know he writes girly-boy BL stuff like me, but I don’t know how much of an otaku he is.

After the meeting last week, he had met with Boy Skirt and his editor again to talk about the illustrations for the light novel. Since the light novelist loved the magical boy’s character design, Erick read a couple of paragraphs of the story and drew those scenes. Though they were all rough drafts, you could tell what was going on.

Boy Skirt wanted to talk a bit more about the illustrations, but his editor was too busy and couldn’t do it this week; she was working to release the first series of a famous author and was giving him her full attention for now.

Normally, the editor and the author met with a new illustrator a few times until the artist got used to working with each other. However, since she wanted Boy Skirt to level up his social skills, in her words, Erick was having a meeting with him without her.

To make things more comfortable for him, Erick proposed meeting in Boy Skirt’s room. Unlike a coffee shop, there was no one around and he didn’t have to take the train. But the light novelist refused, saying his room was a mess and it would be too embarrassing if anyone saw it.

So they would have a meeting in the cross-dressing dormitory.

Because of that, Erick had spent the better part of the afternoon cleaning his room and putting away any 18+ material out of sight. Though his social skills weren’t that bad, he was still nervous about having someone he met recently in his room.

There was a knock on the door. “Is he here yet?”

“No, Rin. And I told you he’s shy. You’re gonna make him uncomfortable,” Erick said.

“I can’t help it. I’m a big fan of his work. I always wanted to meet him,” Rin said, smiling. “I’m gonna show him my cosplay of Elli.”

“I’m sure he’ll like it, but please wait until after our meeting. It might not look like it, but it’s an official business meeting.”

“That’s so hot. You should wear your suit. I never had a thing for a salaryman, but you might change my mind. Spank me with a wad of money,” Rin said, joking with his cute and mischievous smile.

Erick laughed and shook his head. “Shut up. I promise I’ll introduce you two after the meeting. But remember, he’s too shy.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“How can I say this in Japanese?” Erick hummed as he tried to translate. “You can come off too strong sometimes. Someone like him can take it all at once.”

“Who wouldn’t love the cute me fanboying on them?”

“Everyone,” Mikki said. He was in the corridor and overheard. “Don’t get in their way.”

“I’d never do that. I just wanna thank the author for writing great stories about cross-dressing guys. It helped me a lot.”

“Really?” Erick asked, surprised.

“I’m the same,” Mikki said. “Let them have their meeting in peace and we’ll have a new light novel with Erick’s art.”

“You’re right!” Rin beamed. “Please do your best.”

They both left the room.

I didn’t expect them both to feel like that about Boy Skirt-sensei’s story. But now that I think about it, it’s rare to have a story with a gay cross-dresser as the protagonist. They must feel represented in his work, Erick thought. I need to do my best in his new story. For all the girly-boys out there.

Ten minutes later, Boy Skirt-sensei rang the bell of the cross-dressing dormitory. Just in time. I need to make sure to not get behind on his illustrations.

There was another knock on his door. “Come in.”

Yuuki opened the door and made room for a young Japanese man wearing the same black tracksuit. His hair was once again covering most of his face, and the little Erick could see was staring at the floor and slightly red.

“Please feel welcome,” Yuuki said with a smile.

“T-t-thank you,” Boy Skirt mumbled as the dorm leader closed the door. When they were alone, he bowed to Erick. “I-I-It’s nice to see you again.”

“M-me too,” Erick hurried up and did the same. There was a moment of silence and then he gestured to the cushion on the floor before the short table—Yuuki let him borrow for the meeting. “Please, have a seat.”

“T-Thank you.”

There was another moment of silence. He’s really shy. But I’m not exactly an extrovert either.

“I-I loved the other characters’ designs,” he muttered barely above a whisper. He seemed to be using all he had to speak. “E-Especially the second magical boy. He looks so cute.”

“I’m happy you liked it. So I can go with those designs for the illustration?”

“Y-Yes. B-but, if possible, c-could you make them cute and cool?

“I’ll do my best.”

“A-and also, c-could you f0cus on the… the… b-bulges too?” he whispered, the little of his face redder.

Erick smiled. “You want to make sure people know they’re guys and not girls at first glance, right?”

“Y-Yes. My readers know they’re boys, but sometimes people don’t know that and buy my book. W-when they realize what kind of work it is, they feel tricked and post mean comments…”

“And that hurts,” Erick finished the sentence. Though he didn’t have a big audience, he still got a few of those comments. It wasn’t a big deal for him, but he was slightly bothered.

For someone like him, it must be way harder.

“Yes…”

Erick flashed a confident smile. “I’ll make sure everyone sees they’re boys right away, Boy Skirt-sensei.”

“T-thanks,” he smiled timidly. “A-and you don’t need to call me that, sensei. P-Please, call me Izumi.”

“Then please call me Erick.”

“Y-yes.”

They talked about the illustrations and how to better portray each scene that matched both artists’ views for almost two hours. Despite his shyness, Izumi became livelier the more he talked about his story and relaxed.

“Is it over?” Rin asked the moment Erick opened the door of his bedroom. He was waiting from his room.

“Yes. Let me introduce you,” Erick said, chuckling and turning to Izumi, who cowered a bit at the unexpected appearance. “This is Boy Skirt-sensei. Sensei, these are Rin and Mikki. They’re huge fans of your work.”

“Yes. Your stories are amazing. We need more awesome characters that are like us.”

“T-thank you. W-What do you mean like you?” Izumi asked in a low voice.

“We’re guys,” they said with a huge smile.

“Y-you are?” he asked. That surprised Izumi so much, he moved a bit closer to have a better look. “Both of you?”

“Yes.”

“You two are so cute.”

“Thanks,” they said together.

“But I’m cuter,” Rin muttered.

“Shut up.”

Erick laughed at that, and Izumi smiled.

“Sensei, we’d just like to say thank you for writing your stories.”

“N-no! I-I’m the one who should be thanking you for reading my stories,” Izumi responded as he hurried up and bowed to them.

“I’ve cosplayed Elli a few times. What do you think?” Rin pulled out his phone and showed a photo to him.

Izumi’s eyes shone as he looked at Rin dressed as the cross-dressing Demon King who traveled through dimensions to find his boyfriend.

“It’s amazing,” he said, mesmerized.

“I cosplayed Karius in an event at my café,” Mikki said, pulling out his phone and showing his photo.

Izumi’s face lit up with wonder. “So cute. And this café… I recognize this place. I’ve been there once.”

“You have?”

“Y-yes. All the boys are really cute.”

“I’ll tell them that,” Mikki replied and smiled at him.

“Sensei, do you wanna stay for dinner? We’d love to talk to you a bit more,” Rin said.

Izumi looked a bit troubled. But then he smiled as he looked at the ground. “I-I don’t mind…”

“Great. How about we wear our cosplay so you can judge them in real life?”

“I-I’m not fit to do that!”

“You’re the author. No one is better than you. Unless…” Rin exchanged looks with Mikki, who nodded at him.

“Come with us, sensei,” the cross-dressing maid said. “You’ll have a surprise.”

“W-what? I-I’m not su—”

“It’s okay.”

Rin and Mikki led him to Rin’s room. Izumi looked at Erick.

“What are you two planning?” Erick asked.

“Mainly guys can’t come in right now,” Rin said, closing the door without answering the question.

I should do something… But I know they won’t do anything bad… He went back to his room, waiting.

Almost twenty minutes later, the three of them came back.

“What do you think?” Rin and Mikki asked with huge smiles.

Behind him came out Elli from the light novel. But it couldn’t be. The Demon King was a character.

“I-Izumi?” Erick asked, widening his eyes.

Boy Skirt-sensei looked at the spitting image of his character. He was dressed in black short shorts, matching stockings, a purple mini top, and a pink wig. He wore light makeup and had a tail coming out from his behind. His entire face was red, and he stared at the floor all the time.

“H-How do I look?” he asked in a low voice barely above a whisper.

“Cute,” Erick blurted, also blushing.

“Yes, he is!” Rin and Mikki exclaimed together, high-fiving each other.

Despite his embarrassment, Izumi seemed to be enjoying the situation.
