November Models Reveal (and some TL;DR)

Hey friends,

We have officially began working on the last of November model, which means it's time to reveal the entire lot!

But before we get to that, let me adress the elephant in the room. Some of you, especially our recent subscribers, may be looking at the preview pic right now and wondering how a male character from a Western CRPG ended up next to a bunch of anime girls. Well, the answer is simple: we don't position ourselves as an anime Patreon, and we never have. In fact, we originally started this business with a number of Pathfinder models and it wasn't until half a year later when we made our first anime character (Lavenza from Persona 5, in case anyone's wondering). Ever since expanding beyond a single artist, our goal was to balance between the two styles: anime and semi-realistic, letting each artist keep their individuality rather than trying to mimic someone else's work. Admittedly, it proved harder than we imagined, and we kept leaning towards anime more than we wanted to, but right now I believe we are slowly getting back on track. But I digress, let's get back to the November models.

Firstly, Kumoko has won the poll a while ago, so her presence is hardly a surprise for anyone at this point. If you haven't seen the WIPs we posted a couple days ago, I advise you to check our Discord. This is going to be the last model by Elena, our original artist, before she moves on to a new role within the team, so we all excited to see it!

Secondly, Milana has got the right to choose her model this time, so she picked Reimu from Touhou Project. I honestly don't know much about Touhou to comment on it, but giving artists an opportunity to take on odd projects that would otherwise never see the light of day has been one the signature traits of Bulkamancer Sculpts, so I'm certainly not complaining. After all, you never know where a true gem can be found!

For the third model, we decided to continue our recently adopted tradition and invite another guest artist. Welcome Salt, a talented 3D sculptor who has agreed to create Sylphiette for us! Can't wait to see the results! ^_^

Lastly, we've got Astarion, our bonus model by Victoria, and you can already find some WIPs in Discord. But hold on, why is there even a fourth model when our Patreon description clearly states we only create three a month? And I'd love to answer that question! Thanks to every single one of you, we have grown quite a bit over the past few months and have almost reached 500 paid subscribers (you can check the current number at the bottom of our "About" page). So, we have been thinking a lot about what to do once we reach that milestone. A year ago, we promised a one-time extra model from each of our artists when that happens. But honestly, it seemed a bit underwhelming and also only rewarding to the people who would be subscribed to that one month when we reached it. We wanted to provide something more consistent. So we decided to put that extra money from our new subscribers to good use and offer a bonus model to you for as long as we stay above 500. This will allow us to continue inviting awesome guest artists and let them create magnificent figures for you on a regular basis! However, keep in mind that, unlike regular models, these will only be available on the month they are released in!

Now, this has turned into the longest model reveal post I've ever written, so it's time to wrap up!
