April Projects Reveal

Hey friends,

Yeah, I know, it's high time for a monthly recap and I haven't even announced the April lineup yet! Let me fix that real quick.

Let's start with Sung Jin-Woo (Solo Leveling) by our core artist YoruNoAme. In case you missed the first and only WIP in our Discord yesterday, I advise you to take look. The model is pretty much finished, just a few tweaks remaining. And to everyone who expected an army of shadows, a couple severed heads, a body of a dead ant, and at least 3 different costumes - sorry, but none of that is happening. Can't pump out a diorama every other month.

Speaking of dioramas, after our recent set we decided to try another experiment, and KAI is currently working on Mio (Split Fiction), the first part of a potential duo. The idea is to try and recreate a visual split between genres in a single diorama. Obviously, whether we go that far will depend on how well the first model is received, but I keep my fingers crossed!

Szymon is toiling away at Kratos (God of War). In all honesty, I wasn't sure he'd manage, considering his extra workload as our new render guy, but the last WIP he shared was quite promising indeed! Here's hoping he still has enough free time to sleep at least 8 hours a week.

Meanwhile, Vik is wrapping up Artillery Witch (Trench Crusade) that we managed to keep secret right until today. The idea of a masked witch who summons bombs from hell and hurls them across battlefield was simply way too appealing to pass up. Especially when the creators kindly offered us a license to make the model. Not going to lie, the pressure is real, but if I'm confident in one thing, that would be Vik's sculpting abilities.

But our first model next month is definitely going to be Amaterasu (Okami) by Daria Lozynina. I mean, seriously, who else would you expect us to hire to sculpt a cute doggo (wolfo?)? My only regret is how much time the project's been sitting in our drives, waiting for the release day. Won't be long now!

I am not ready to reveal the last April project, as I decided to keep at least one surprise every month. But to align your expectations, I will say it's going to be a stylized model by Alex Gray.

Oh, and don't forget that we are updating our Loyalty Reward model next month, replacing it with Agent Karen from our own Unbreadable webcomic. It's a result of a nice collaboration between PONGOJ, who designed the character, and Alex Gray, who sculpted it all too eagerly. Honestly, I am afraid to put these two together in a room without any supervision, as they might create something the world is not ready for. But maybe one day I will.
