Patreon changes coming

Hey everyone,

We've started making some of the changes to tidy things up around here. Some of the tiers will be changing - mostly just moving things around, and we have some new things coming too. Whatever changes occur, you will always have 31 days to make changes yourself should you feel the need.

Over the next few months, some things will be removed or re-categorised so that our ad free rss feed makes more sense. Hopefully most people won't even notice those changes. If something goes missing from your tier, and you feel as though you weren't given fair warning, please message us and we'll refund what we can. We certainly don't won't anyone to feel as though they aren't getting value for their support.

Some of you must wonder what we do with the money your support us with. Maybe one day we'll keep some for ourselves, but for the moment, we're doing exactly what most of you tell us to do - we're trying to make more content...

This year, after paying artists, music/sfx subscriptions, hosting fees etc - we spent some of it on building a new mini-studio for exclusive Patreon content (more to come soon!), finally upgrading our main studio (proper microphones and decent chairs!), preparing a small audio setup (for Alana's own RPG), buying cameras for the girls' mini-shows, and making our way to MCM London (still waiting on confirmation there) - and while this has been quite a challenge, we hope you see the benefits of these decisions very soon.

We absolutely can't do this without you, and we'll keep trying to make it better with you.

Thanks,
Cory and the girls.

Appreciated Robert. It's a bit slow moving at the moment because aspects of my job have made it difficult to focus on doing what is best for the show, and because absolutely everything I do I have to learn how to do first! However, if the next few weeks pan out well, we should have a nice update for what's coming next. Just have a few speedhumps first! There are two big things to sort out this week, and then one the week after - and then we'll have all the information we need to make a plan. Fingers are crossed!

I'm glad to hear you've been investing in tools such as your new mini-studio and all that entails. The right tools and workspace make life so much better for artists because better tools reduce friction and distractions. The right chisel, paint brush, microphone or screwdriver will feel like an extension of the artist's body after a surprisingly short timer. All this is good for me because happy artists make more and better content! In my creative endeavors I find it hard to balance spending too much too soon (and wasting hard-earned money on fine equipment I'll never use) or not enough in time. Some times I doubt I'll stick with something long enough to justify good tools, but then the crappy tools I have make that thing not enough fun to stick with. It's a vicious cycle! So please do spend my money on things that will make your life easier, and when you have all the tools and materials you could possibly want, treat yourselves to something nice just for you. And also thank you for everything you've done already. I know it's scary at the beginning and I appreciate when I benefit from others' bravery and commitment.
