In my opinion yes he did let things get too out of hand by being too friendly with his sister-in-law and that led her to having deeper feelings for him. He could’ve easily avoided the situation by setting some boundaries BUT he gave NO indication that he KNEW she was in love with him.

Remember winter said something that made spring cry? And when winter made Nash’s mom go to the hospital… this was love starting to take over. And when spring finally summoned love that was love finally able to fully control spring. TLDR: Spring was fighting love off but was completely taken over. Maybe spring is still in there and she is bawling at the situation, full regret, no more pain?
