Magritte

"The object, the thing connected with it in the shadow of my consciousness, and that light wherein that thing would become apparent."
I had been exploring sacred geometry and ancient philosophies already for the sake of my web comic, so naturally my first response was to do something influenced by Plato's Allegory of the Cave. I used a sun as a representation of the mind's eye conceptualizing a 4th dimensional shape that casts a flat 2 dimensional shadow. Personally, I'm satisfied with the end result!
