Night Drive BG
Added 2021-02-17 03:13:37 +0000 UTCI've been on a sort of animation meme kick lately, and it took me a while but I finally figured out what I'm going to do next. I need to work on visual development for the opening of gotn--specifically color and atmosphere as its been a while since I've rendered a city environment-- but I've also really been wanting to animate lighting, so I've decided to combine the two and focus on building atmosphere and ~vibe~
And the meme that felt appropriate for this was Iroh
As a kid, my mom and I visited my grandparents every weekend, and I remember her driving us home at night. We'd have to pass by the airport, and the lights and advertisements from around there always stuck with me. Driving at night has always been an aesthetic I enjoy.
Anyway, I put together this background after figuring out my shots this morning. The plan is to animate the lighting and not the character (Zoe), but we will see! The meme will mainly focus on the transition between chapter 1 and 2.
Also, I've started thumbnailing for chapter one so hopefully I'll have a first pass ready to show soon so you guys actually know what I'm talking about! sldkfj
Thank you for your patience while I tried to fill my post-premiere void! I'm going to try having a few projects going at once so I can avoid losing my momentum again.
