2 Phut Hon Scraps
Added 2021-04-02 20:01:01 +0000 UTCI had an unusually high amount of scrapped content this time around, thanks to me ~once again~ starting on animation before finishing my thumbnails/animatic, oops! I figured you guys would be interested in seeing what didn't make the cut 👀
There were originally 2 more versions of the hip sway for variety that I ended up cutting because they were unnecessary:
I had several cut climbing shots in the "OUT" half of the meme before I realized I didn't have to establish the environment cause the environment hadn't changed:

There was going to be a transition out of the first pose in the dance sequence that was scrapped because of unnecessary work. Making a loop, then transitioning out of it is tedious enough--I already did that for Pyrrho's demon form and I decided I didn't want to do it again
And lastly, there was this aerial shot, from quite early on, that never made it to the light of day:
If there is anything you guys can learn from this: finish your animatics--or thumbnails at least!!--before starting animation because dear god I wasted a lot of time doing it this way!!
I know I keep saying I want to reduce the amount of time I'm spending on these animations and the opposite has been happening, but this time round a lot of it can be blamed on this lol. Can't say the exploration wasn't fun, though!
As for future projects, I'm currently working on a collab with ChloeCorvid so keep an eye out for that! I'm also going to be testing tweening with Miu, the Cthulhu based magical girl from a few posts ago--more on that soon!!
