Happy Sunday everyone.
Added 2025-04-05 21:54:14 +0000 UTCThis last week was a tough one for us. Losing Poppy, my pet kangaroo, was especially difficult. She was my baby and such a big part of my life.
The nearly 2 weeks of rain have finished. The puddles and the mud are drying up. Everything is very green and vibrant here.
All the female goats are going into heat. So Maximus, the Billy goat 🐐, is having the time of his life. Goats gestate for 5 months. So there will, hopefully, be lots of spring babies.
Michael has to go to Brisbane for a few different things this coming week. So I am going to have to look after Bare Camp on my own for 4 days. Should be interesting. Hopefully, the animals will all behave for me. I have done it before. It usually is okay. But animals will do stupid things.
