Tournament announcement! The "KerFLUFFle"

In a celebration of my upcoming 1-year anniversary of my Patreon, I will be hosting a furry waifu-centric tournament through October and November! A Ker"FLUFF"le, if you will! The championship match-up will be in mid-November, which was when my Patreon launched in 2020. 

What does the eventual winner receive? I will draw a picture of the winner in a domineering position over the runner-up.

TOURNAMENT SELECTIONS AND DISTRIBUTION

Here's the setup: I picked out 32 popular furry/furry bait characters and then divided them into 4 "regions" (Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest), trying to maintain an even distribution of characters between all regions. I then "seeded" (lul) them within their regions, according to perceived popularity, using a variety of factors. The seeds are somewhat arbitrary given there isn't really any precedent for something like this, but the #1 seeds should be fairly apparent. The bracket is attached (and at the bottom of this post).

Some notes:

• Each character had to be bipedal and possess a "generally anthropomorphic" aesthetic in their canon form in order to be eligible. 
• Each "branch" of 4 contains a Sonic character, a Pokeyman, a character from "other video games", and a character that is primarily from animated sources. Multiply this by 8 and you have 8 of each type of character in this tournament.
• Each "branch" of 4 contains exactly one (1) fox character.
• Each region contains at least one rabbit character.

VOTING

There will be 31 1-vs-1 polls in total (16+8+4+2+1=31), with the winner advancing to the next round. The intent is for voters to select which of the two choices they prefer. If a voter doesn't have a personal preference for either choice, they can either not vote, or pick which character they'd rather see me draw.

Voting will be done here on Patreon via public polling for the first two rounds, and the remaining polls will be on Twitter. I am using Patreon for the early rounds because they account for 24 of the 31 polls and Patreon has a superior polling system. Patreon can schedule polls in advance, Twitter cannot. Patreon can also directly attach images to polls, Twitter cannot.

• Each poll will have an image attached to it that shows both characters, generally using official art (I'll try to mix up which pictures I use as the rounds go on).
• Every poll will run for 24 hours,  except for the championship (finals) round, which will run for 48 hours.
• All Patreon polls will open at 12:00AM EST and run to 11:59PM EST each day, from October 1st to October 24th.
• Voting on Patreon will be open to the public, though I presume a Patreon account is needed to vote. Twitter voting will also be open to the public, naturally.
• Quarterfinals: October 25th-31st, on Twitter.
• Semifinals: November 5th-7th, on Twitter.
• Finals: November 12th-14th, on Twitter.
• The "triple voting power" perk for Platinum voters does not apply to tournament polls.
• In the case of a tiebreaker, I will do a "sudden death" vote the next day on Twitter, which will last 8 hours. If it's still a tie after that, the higher seed serves as the tiebreaker if the tie is occurring prior to the semifinal round. Otherwise, the sudden death process will repeat with decreasing durations.

What do poll winners receive?

They advance to the next round, of course! But as stated before, I have something special planned for the championship battle: I will draw the winner (champion) in a domineering position over the runner-up.

Additionally, I may draw additional art depending on available time:

• Original art of the (4) remaining characters in the semifinal round, primarily for use in the poll image.
• Original art of the (2) remaining characters in the championship round, primarily for use in the poll image.
