little update

A little sneak peek to how my remake of Gallagher is going!

Here's the water physics of Gallagher's rum 'cause it's not going to show up much but I'm quite proud of it!

The Gallagher paizuri animation is going to surely be uploaded first because it's *shorter and would be easier to dub, keyframe, and edit.*

*EDIT: Hello, future Mokt here! It is not a true fully paizuri animation anymore because an idiot (me) got greedy and wanted more so it is longer now. πŸ™ƒπŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘

But also, I really want to properly translate my artstyle into the animations I do but the way I draw illustrations is so different to the rigs.

(Left is Illustration and Right is Animation)

When I draw illustrations, I do it all on grayscale first before coloring so I can play around with depth. With rigs, I also have to think about how the parts connect. Having separate grayscale layers for the rig and THEN coloring the grayscale separately is a heavy load that my computer can't take, especially with rigs taking more than a hundred layers already. (This particular Scene2 Gallagher rig isn't very elaborate since he's just twirling his glass around and only shows up for like 15 seconds but it has 134 layers before the parts got compressed for Live2D)

That unfortunately means the rigs usually would look flatter... but I'm trying to look for ways to not make them flat! But that also means scenes from last year looks outdated- and the Neuvithesley video is affected by it because I started it on November, right after the Rabbit Hole MV so it's been like 3 or 4 months of me working on it on and off at this point due to circumstances. So parts of the Neuvithesley video might look outdated compared to this newer Gallagher one! Still, I'm updating some parts of it that don't break much to make them closer to my current artstyle- hopefully it doesn't look like shit when the different artstyles show up in one animation.

Anyways! Here's some drafts of the Gallagher scenes as an update. (Just drafts cuz I wanna save the real thing for when I upload it)

Scene5

Scene7

Scene8

Overall, there's around 10-12 scenes! Almost like the Neuvithesley animation...

Except the reason the Neuvithesley animation has many scenes is 'cause there's a plot thing going on! So, in the end, this one has actually more NSFW scenes than the Neuvithesley animation?! (I have no impulse control😭 I'm so sorry)

But to be fair!! Different angles and closeups count as different scenes and Gallagher's body just has many closeups- so scene 1 is just Trailblazer's legs similar to the original video and there's not a lot going on in some scenes except for bouncing and breathing and shaky eyes.

I'll do my best to get the two animations out right after each other! But really, I didn't expect this one to be a legit long video when it started out as a filler...

So, to recap!

After Gallagher is Neuvithesley, then LukeJamie, then the dual ChiLi remake! Sprinkled in between are the illustrations for the sfw Dakimakura Set, some r18 illustrations (the sketches of which are usually first posted on Discord), the Chili Comic, then after that is a GePo animation! Somewhere in there would be the release of the free customizable community Vtuber model (codename:Lost Adventurer + two additional release costumes for it) that had to get remade from scratch after the purge!

(Apologies for the messy schedule, the ADHD is kicking my ass. I wish to the Gods that I don't get further distracted)

---

Also! I mentioned before that my carpal tunnel is making it difficult for me to draw frame-by-frame animation and I asked a physical therapist how to help with it and her answer was, and I quote, "...Maybe don't draw for 24 hours straight. 😐"

....When I started drawing 16-hours straight for that first and now cancelled Gallagher frame-by-frame animation, I just got off of an 8-hour workday (I also do art for work) and then didn't rest properly before starting the reward.

So... yeah! When I draw rigs, I naturally stop every now and then to look at how parts connect and imagine how it's going to move so I inadvertently get rest in-between long bouts of drawing without realizing it. When I do frame-by-frame, it's non-stop because I already have the keyframes and stuff drawn and most of the work goes into the the in-betweens.

So my panic about not being able to commit to a frame-by-frame animation was just me being an idiot and not thinking properly. πŸ˜…

So! Frame-by-Frame is okay as long as I pace it is what the doctor said! So that's nice!! Sorry if I made anyone worry.
