Apple has a 30% fee when it comes to purchases and, also, has a 75-day hold where your payment to the creators you are subscribed to will not be given to them for that amount of time.
This has recently been changed in the latest version of their app and it will now show you Patreon's checkout first instead of the iOS store checkout. Please do so and check on your method of payment for the creators you're following!
