Update + Rough Art

So, I've been kinda taking stock of things over the last couple of days. Plus, of course, working on a new piece of art. I've mentioned before that my particular method of drawing doesn't normally result if cool-looking roughs, but this one was a rare exception. So, the image above is a rare look at a work in progress from me, specifically the first of two images intended to be used for a 'peeping on Mira' event in the cafe's dressing/locker room.

Back to the taking stock of things bit... 

The Sexy Cosplay Cafe:

 The plan was to have 20 images by now. To date...I have 12. The end of last month hit things particularly hard, as I had to shut down drawing for something like 10 days, accounting for at least 3-4 pieces of art that should have been done in that time frame. I think I'll have one more (the one that the above is a rough of), done in the next day. But that's not even keeping up with this months goal. I'm simply too heavily committed in too many areas, and I'm not really sure what to do about it. 

Eros Academy: 

Thankfully, I haven't missed any updates on this yet. The next release will result in one of the quarterly public updates, at between 45-55 images. Which is actually about 2/3rds the speed I was updating even without working on Cosplay Cafe. It's nor entirely fair to patrons to push those quarterly updates straight to the public. But I'm not sure how else to do it without running into some long-term issues. If some of you have a problem with this please speak up. I hope that the access to updates and other rewards (as well as voting) are enough to satisfy in the quarterly update months. You are still getting patron-only content, and for 2 our of every 3 months you get new Eros Academy builds before the public. 

If my intention to release every third update as  a public build bothers my current patrons (all of you are awesome), I will hold off a month on doing so each time so that you always have at least 1 month of game content that the public doesn't. The reason I'm not doing that by default is, frankly, that doing the first quarterly update in June makes the schedule line up with actual yearly quarters. 

This Month's Rewards:

The poll for this will be up (for $5+ members) on roughly the 5th. I want to give people the chance to read The Elven Maid before voting happens again. Fair warning...I'm considering not putting extra renders for Eros on this month, do to how far behind I am on Cosplay Cafe. I don't want leaving it off to be a normal thing, but I really don't want Cosplay Cafe to be delayed any longer than absolutely needed. To be blunt, despite the fact that I love you guys for continuing to support Eros Academy (No, you still aren't getting my Bud Light. Mostly because I don't actually drink bud light), I'm really hoping that Cosplay Cafe will turn things around for this Patreon. With the god-awful number of hours I'm putting into everything involving it, getting a $25 a month return, which I end up spending purely on new assets for Eros most of the time, just isn't something I can do indefinitely. Either I'm going to have to drastically cut the time I spend on content, or else get more patrons so that I can justify the time better, and Eros Academy doesn't seem to appeal to the average adult game player (I still don't understand why).

Time 

Speaking of time. Time is my current big issue. Doubly so as I'm now going to have to spend a bunch of time trying to find work again. I told dick-face that he could take a flying leap off a cliff (much more professionally and kindly), after yet another delay in his project. Unfortunately, I wasn't exaggerating when I said I needed that contract. There is a reason, a good I-like-not-starving-to-death reason, that I put up with him as long as I did. That means I'm scrambling to find some sort of work to replace his, and I have no idea what that is going to do to my schedule.
