hmmm, the compression seems to have done something weird to the lines on this one. Might have to see if I can figure out what and how to stop it from happening.... Anyway, as I mentioned, I've been back to tackling art since the weekend. This is actually only one of three pieces I've been working on effectively simultaneously, with the other two being the more boring talking pose I needed in both this and Mira's original cosplay outfit. Hopefully, I'll have both of those done tonight as well, bringing the total number of pieces I still need down to just 4. Well, 5 if you count the location I think I'm not going to be able to find a placeholder for. That one I might work on while actually programming/writing the game in August (Yes, I've completely lost any idea of finishing this in July. Losing almost a third of the month to a business trip was just too much. My new goal is mid-August, but I can't make any absolute promises since I still have some technical stuff to work out. Namely, figuring out of if I can use the engine the way I want to).

As to the costume itself...this is the first (and in the initial build only) costume change you'll be able to guide Mira toward, once you get far enough into her story. Each costume change will be a little skimpier, sexier, or more fetisy (depending on story elements and character personality) with this one showing considerably more skin than her default costume.

For the curious, the costume is almost an exact copy of Ichigo Momomiya's from the Manga/Anime series Tokyo Mew Mew. It's actually for this reason that it has less in the way of flourishes and extra details that I tend to put into my slightly more original costumes. That's simply the way Ichigo Momomiya's costume is...though I admit freely that I completely failed to reproduce the poofy-skirt of the original character's outfit. I couldn't get it right. Still, it's not horrible, I hope.
