Dungeon of Lewdity April Path Poll

Whoops! I actually intended to put this up late last night, but my sleep patterns are still all fucked up from having to be a daywalker for a few days and I ended up crashing early. Anyway, this post has a little more detail to it than most of these polls will in the future, as a little bit of explanation is required.

Essentially, that explanation is in regards to how the paths work for DOL. You all should know by now, either from playing the current build or reading various posts, that there the first room of The Dungeon of Lewdity splits the game into three Paths. Each path focuses on a different type of content. Those paths are: The Bondage Path, The Mental Path, and The Physical Transformations path. 

That much you should already know, at least generally. What I haven't explained yet is that each of those paths is intended to split once more, providing two sub-paths for each path, for a grand total of 6 possible path that will eventually have their own Completed the Dungeon type ending. This is intended to help with proving a variety of content types for each of the overarching paths, while still keeping the number of variations down to a dull roar so that the game doesn't wildly expand outside my control. I want to actually finish this game, eventually, and start up a new Patron reward game in it's place once I do. 

All of that having been said, I can give you all a fairly decent idea where MOST of the sub-paths are going to lead in their immediate future, but you'll be voting only on the overall 3 paths. Currently, my plan is to put roughly 4-6 new rooms and roughly the same number of Safeword Endings into each build, with the occasional Happy Ending as well, which are more complete Endings that still aren't the result of actually getting through The Dungeon. What you are voting on is which path is the PRIMARY Focus of the next build. Each of the three main paths will get at least 1 new room with each build, but the primary focus path, as chosen by these polls, will get all the other rooms for the build. That means the primary path for the build will get 2-4 rooms instead of just 1, with the only times it would get just 2 being if those two rooms were particularly complex.

What follows is a summary of what I have planned for the near future of each Path/Subpath set.

The Bondage Path

-Sub-Path 1: Free Use - On this sub-path, the player will continue being put into situations similar to the room from Build 1 that had the bound player character providing handjobs, blowjobs, and sex for The Dungeons occupants.

-Sub-Path 2: Pet Play - This path will see the player character slowly being 'trained' into various pet play type scenarios, using bondage outfits and bondage toys with that focus.

The Mental Path

-Sub-Path 1:Submissive - This path will involve numerous scenarios where the player character is put into submissive roles. Example: The Maid room

-Sub-Path 2: Dominant -  This path will involve numerous scenarios where the player character is put into dominant roles. Example: The Lily/Alice Beach Room

Note for both sub-paths: Intensity of the sub/dom elements will slowly escalate as you get farther into the dungeon. Both example rooms are only subtly sub/dom, but later rooms on each sub-path will be much more obviously so.

The Physical Transformation Path

-Sub-Path 1: Racial Transformations - This sub-path, much like the current content for this overall path, will focus on transformations that shift the player character into a different race. That race might be furry, semi-furry, or just another type of fantasy race like orcs or drow.

Note for this Sub-Path: The next room in this sub-path also contains the first Happy Ending I have planned. 

-Sub-Path 2: Gender Transformation - This sub-path contains the sort of gender morphology you might see in one of Fenoxo's games (Corruption of Champions, Trials in Tainted Space). You've already seen an example of this with the Futa Minotaur option in The Maze room. While there may be some racial transformation, primarily it will be all about the various configurations of gender. Female->Male or vice versa, Futa's transformation of various types, possibly gaining tentacles to play with. That sort of thing.
