Now, with that out of the way, art! As you can see, I finished up Alice's casual piece...as well as going back and finally shading the hair on her first cosplay piece. I'm sorry to anyone that wanted me to keep her as a blond...I finally pulled the trigger and said 'Nope, she's gonna be a redhead.'
As far as how these two pieces came out, I'm pretty happy with them! I'm a little iffy on her skin tone. The base color I chose didn't really leave enough room to lighten it for shading effects. I'd actually like feedback on that, if anyone is willing to drop a comment I'd like to know if the faces look properly 3d to you, or if it still looks a bit flat. The more I look at them, the more I think I might have to tweak her skin tone a bit...
Aside from that, there will likely be a few minor tweaks to her casual image, mostly on her right eye(her right, our left) and jawline. I cheated and traced a mirror image of her cosplay image for the face in order to speed things up. It's not 100% the same, I tweaked it as I went to reflect the differing angle, but looking at the complete version I think I didn't tweak it enough...
