General Progress Update

As I said last time, I'm trying to be good about keeping patrons updated, so this is just a general status update :-p. I finished the final piece of art I'd been wanting for the Cosplay Cafe update on the 19th, and I've just wrapped up the rough draft of the DoL: Merchant Princess short for this month's story reward. I'm not 100% happy with it(the story not the art), as I didn't get as far I'd wanted to into the story line. However, in order to feel like a had done justice to the pet-play content, I realized I had to actually show more of it than I'd originally planned. If fact, what's in this update is really only the first day-and-a-half of what is implied to be several weeks worth of training.

Despite the fact that I was originally hoping to keep this whole short series down to a minimal number of parts (then offer up another DoL series to replace it) I'm currently considering running a secondary poll the next time DoL:Merchant Princess wins, to see if people want a second installment of Katrina being trained by Suska the Succubus. It could go either way, that I simply time-skip the rest of the training off-screen as it were, or that I do a second installment showing bits and pieces of additional training. I could write it either way pretty easily. Which, as it happens, is why I stopped where I did with it this time. It's actually a little shorter than I expected, just a touch shy of 5,000 words prior to editing (which generally lengthens it a bit as I add a few snippets to smooth things out).

Anyway, you can expect to see the June's Story Reward coming out tonight, after I have a chance to edit it. Both the new $5+ reward and the Old Reward Archive update. After that, I'll be shifting focus to July's DoL Build, for reasons I've already covered and don't want to repeat again.
