Progress Report (Cosplay Cafe)

Alright, having gotten that reminder out of the way, I first want to apologize for not putting a progress report up days ago. To be blunt, the last few days have been pretty packed, and I prioritized getting as much time into the coding as I could over progress reports. Sorry :-). Now, having said that, there's Good News and Bad News. Honestly, though, it's mostly Good News. 

The Good News is that the update for Cosplay Cafe is essentially done! The coding and writing were wrapped up just an hour or so ago. All of the planned content for this update has been written and coded in, even including a complete overhaul of the inventory system! I'm fairly happy with what I managed with the update overall. All that remands left to do at this point are the Play Testing, Bug Fix, and an Editing Passes.

The Bad News, unfortunately, is that I need to halt work on it now, in order to make sure I can get the Story Reward for the month out. In point of fact, I'm actually cutting that kinda fine, as it usually takes 3-4 days to brainstorm, write, and edit the Story Reward. Which means I absolutely, positively, have to start later today in order to be sure I can finish that. 

This means that, depending on how much the writing for the story reward fights me, I may not be able to squeeze the day or two I need to wrap up the Cosplay Cafe update in before the end of the month. Having said that I will try...and even if I don't manage it, I intend to push through and get it done/released as soon as possible. Meaning, if it doesn't quite squeak in by the end of the month, I'll take the 1st and 2nd to hammer it out and get it published. It's possible doing so might push the release of DoL's August Build back to the 16-17th (at absolute worst), but I really REALLY want this thing done. At this point the game hasn't been updated in waaaaayyyy too long. Also, it's honestly not that likely to push DoL back even that far. I usually take the first of the month off as a day to relax and not work on any of this stuff anyway.
