October DoL Focus Path Poll Thingy

TLDR Version: Read the bolded Poll explanation section and the usual descriptions. The rest is informative but if you don't want to read it all just those bits will get you what you need. 

Yes, I'm still mildly delirious from being sick and on some awful concoction of caffeine and over-the-counter cold meds. So, please forgive me if anything doesn't make sense (and, you know, ask questions so maybe I will make sense?). 

Anywhoits, this poll is the first time we have Dungeon of Lewdity Ending Sets up for grabs. Which means I need to clarify/explainify some stuffy-things. First, to be absolutely clear, when I say Ending SET I mean exactly that. The True Endings for each sub-path have always been intended to be a SET of endings. Three endings (each about the size/complexity of a Village Ending) for each sub-path. One is a 'default' ending you can always choose, with the other two being endings available only if you hit the needed levels of INT or LEWD scores. Of course, the Intelligence and Lewdity scores are going to be overhauled, providing more chances to get one or the other. My changes to Build 7 to show the player when they gain a point of either were the first part of that overhaul. Suffice it to say, there will be plenty of chances at both, though I intend it to be impossible (or perhaps nearly impossible?) to get all three endings in one go at a given path.

The second explanation I need to give is in regards to the poll itself. I described how I originally envisioned ending polls going in my Roadmap Post, but I've since reconsidered a little bit. That reconsideration was brought about by my realization that there would be TWO sub-paths ending at once. As I don't want any given update to ONLY contain endings, rather than rooms, I felt I needed to do a rethink on the poll system I had planned. As such:

HERE IS HOW THIS POLL WORKS

Voting for the Bondage Path: This will result in one of the Ending Sets being in Build 8, a second poll will determine which sub-path would get it's endings. Be aware, if any Ending Set is in the cards for a given update, the Full Ending Set(of three endings) counts for Two Rooms, meaning there will probably be only 3 rooms + the 3-ending set. 

Voting for one of the other Paths: This will result in that path getting the typical 3-room focus. In turn, the other remaining path will get 1 room and I'll build the Default Ending of one of the bondage sub-paths in need of its endings.

OKAY, HAVING EXPLAINIFIED THE THINGS. Now we need to get to the actual poll.

The Bondage Path

-Sub-Path 1: Free Use - This sub-path has reached its endings! Voting for the Bondage Path will mean either this sub-path or the Pet Play sub-path gets it's set of 3 endings in full. Which one to be determined by follow-up poll. 

-Sub-Path 2: Pet Play -   This sub-path has reached its endings! Voting for the Bondage Path will mean either this sub-path or the Free Use sub-path gets it's set of 3 endings in full. Which one to be determined by follow-up poll.  

The Mental Path

-Sub-Path 1:Submissive - This path will involve numerous scenarios where the player character is put into submissive roles. Example: The Maid and Fairy rooms. See a bit farther down for next room details.

-Sub-Path 2: Dominant -  This path will involve numerous scenarios where the player character is put into dominant roles. Example: The Drow Room.  See next paragraph for next room details. 

For these two sub-paths, I intend to continue doing a few more parodies. Parodies that are currently being considered are:

One Piece

Sword Art Online

Star Trek

DC Comics

Harry Potter

If this is the focus path for October, at least two of those will also feature. Possibly alongside a non-parody room (such as a vampire room of some sort). 

The Physical Transformation Path

-Sub-Path 1: Racial Transformations - This sub-path will focus on transformations that shift the player character into a different race. That race might be furry, semi-furry, or just another type of fantasy race like orcs or drow. The next room on this path moves us away from the Orc rooms. I'm currently considering several race options for the next set of rooms. Draenei are the current front runners due to the quantity of art available, but I may run a follow-up poll if I decide others are viable.

-Sub-Path 2: Gender Transformation - This sub-path contains the sort of gender morphology you might see in one of Fenoxo's games (Corruption of Champions, Trials in Tainted Space). You've already seen an example of this with the Futa Minotaur option in The Maze room. While there may be some racial transformation, primarily it will be all about the various configurations of gender. Female->Male or vice versa, Futa transformations of various types, possibly gaining tentacles to play with. That sort of thing. Next up - I really want to do a tentacle-girl room next, which builds nicely off the slime room, really. I need to scout for art, though, as it's not an overly common thing...
