Alright, folks! As any of you who followed the poll no doubt know (or if you're a $3+ patron and read the short notice in the DoL release) Chastity Quest - Chasing the Next Release won the poll for which game I'll be working on! It was actually a pretty near run thing, with The Drow Trainer Game coming in a pretty close second. Don't despair if you really wanted to see that game, though! After all, DoL is going to be complete in just 3-4 more months (probably 3). When DoL winds down, there will be another poll to determine which game replaces it. Right now, the three games guaranteed a slot in that poll are:
The Sexy Cosplay Cafe
The Drow Trainer Game
The Dungeon of Lewdity II
So, if you really wanted to see the Drow trainer game, you've still got pretty good odds of seeing it in the long run :-).

Now, with that initial bit of intro out of the way...some more information about Chastity Quest!
Technical Stuff:
The first thing I'm going to mention, just to get it out of the way, is that I'm intending to use a very heavily modded version of Skyrim for the visuals, as can be seen above in the attached images. While I could make it with Daz3d, the truth is that this specific game is why I mentioned the possibility of using such a method. With the Drow Trainer game it would have been a toss-up and with Station Wayland it would have HAD to be Daz3d, flat out. With this specific game, though, I believe I can produce work of nearly the same quality and do so much faster by using the Skyrim engine. Having said that, I will be crediting all mods used AND every single character is going to be hand-customized by me, not simply using Skyrim or Mod NPCs. Likewise, virtually zero of the areas are going to be from the vanilla game, so there won't be a lot for people to recognize as being 'Skyrim.' Above, in the attached images, you can see:
2 images I actually intend to use in the game's intro.
and
2 image panels that give you a look at the main character. The naked body one ended up being a bit off and I had to resize it, hence it being a bit blurrier. Rest assured, naked shots will be just as sharp as the others going forward :-).
Next...the engine. This, I haven't actually determined yet. I am not using Ren'py. Period. Frankly, my opinion of that engine, these days, is something colorful. Sometime like, "May it be anally reamed by the horse it rode in on."
...
.,,
Yeah, you get the idea. Novus no like Ren'py. As to what I'm actually going to use? I have a couple of options. Technically, this game could be done in TWINE. However, I don't think it would be at it's best in that engine. As such, I'm actually going to be spending the next few days playing with the Visual Novel packs for a couple of other engines, starting with Unity. I've had a fairly low opinion of the main Unity Engine for years, but the VN package is less...stupid...hopefully. Anyway, I'm going to play with it and a few other possibilities before settling down on what to use.
Game Details:
I've been roughing out the plan for the game. In fact, I was doing so even before the poll ended, since it seemed most likely to win. As such, I can give you a rough, EARLY idea of how the game will function.
Essentially, what the structure looks like is that there will be roughly 6 largish-scale "Main Areas" that the protagonist will progress through. These include the Starting Adventurer/Frontier Village, a proper Town, The Wizard's Guild, The Temple/Shrine/Whatever to a Love/Lust Spirit, as well as at least one more area I haven't fully defined yet.
Each of those areas will be town-sized, with a dozen or more interactions to find. Some of those will be locations, examples of such planned for just the first starting area (likely the smallest) are: A Wizard's Home, Black Smith Shoppe, The Adventurer's Chapter House, An Inn, and a couple of places to work 'jobs.' Other interactions will be NPC specific, small or medium interactions that will give the player one-off or repeatable actions in each area. The goal is to have each of these major zones feel genuinely big, with enough stuff that finding everything will take actual work (or a guide, which I'm intending to release for $5+ patrons).
As the 'main quest,' that of permanently escaping the chastity belt the character becomes trapped in during the intro, advances, you'll find clues that will lead you through to each new area. Until, in the end, you escape...or not, depending on how you play and what you want! Of course, along the way there will be plenty of chances to escape the belt temporarily for a little fun...but always with a cost.
-----------------
Right now, I'm focusing on getting technical details (such as the engine choice) nailed down. After that, the goal is going to be to get the majority of the starting area released in a first build late in December. I could rush and get it out sooner...but I want the first build to have an actual serious amount of content! That and, frankly, there's always a bunch of design details to hammer out before first builds...
