Chastity Quest (Performance Fixes) + Walkthrough

*Update* Walkthrough has been updated to contain a guide for ALL 38 current sex scenes! As well as the basic overview for various systems.

Okay, so...much to my aggravation, this release doesn't contain any new content. For obvious reasons, the major performance issues of the already released stuff took priority, which sucks as I'd hoped to be finishing up the remaining bits of Build 1 at this point of the month. Needs must when stupid engine programmers drive, however. 

This release should see a MAJOR improvement to general performance, as I did two pretty big overhauls. First, was to convert every single image, from PNG to JPG. There's no reason that it should have mattered to any modern engine...both the fuckwits who made Visual Novel Maker made the thing seriously underpowered. As such, there's a pretty major boost from the change-over. It was also a MAJOR pain in the ass >_<. Though, there is a side-benefit! The game is now under 2gb, whereas before it was almost 3gb. On the downside, there's a VERY SLIGHT drop in image quality. But, honestly, it's not really anything major, and it helped a lot.

The second thing I did PISSES ME OFF IMMENSELY. I had to find a workaround for the fact that whatever incompetent piece of shark bait wrote the Call/Scene Call function was, in fact, an incompetent moron that shouldn't be allowed to program anything more sophisticated than Knockoff Chinese Barbie's voice box. Actually, he or she shouldn't even be allowed to do that, as it would probably result in said knockoff Barbie swearing in Russian... Grrr. Anyway, what I had to do was rip out all the Call/Call Scene commands, including the one that brings up the character menu, and replace them with Change Scene commands. This helped the overall performance quite a bit...however, there is now one thing that WILL LAG worse than anything else. In order to bypass this bit of stupidity, I had to make the Character Menu's code more complex. Due to that and the fact the engine is super underpowered, leaving the character menu will often lag a little bit. I'm sorry, but that was the lesser of two evils :-(.

Walkthrough: 

As I've mentioned before, this is eventually going to be a higher tier reward. But I always intended to release the Build 1 Walkthrough to All Patrons, so that everyone can get basic answers about gameplay. I wanted to have it finished for this post. Unfortunately, with my grandfather dying today (thankfully, I did, in fact, get to see him one last time over the weekend), I...kinda didn't get it done. Not really going to apologize for that :-(. However, I did get a solid start of it, so I'll include what I have so far. Which is basically just an explanation of the core systems, and the guide for the Blacksmith Shop scenes. I'll hopefully be finishing the guide up tomorrow and will edit the post with a version that covers all current content. For now, the partial guide is attached to this post as a PDF.
