Haven's Port - Playable Intro/Teaser Release

Update! The game is now browser-playable...for some browsers. For some bizarre reason, it doesn't like Chrome, but it's fine in Firefox, IE, and Opera. Go figure. I'm also delighted to announce that it does, in fact, work on Android (probably iOS too, but I can't test that as I don't have any apple devices), including on the mobile version of Chrome. Seriously, no idea who it doesn't like my laptop's Chrome. If anyone else tries it on Desktop/Laptop Chrome, please let me know if it worked... Anyway, you can now play the game at:

Okay, that title is a bit of a mouthful, huh? I didn't want to call this a proper Build, though, for reasons I've already discussed. For those that haven't been paying attention, please be aware that this is not a full-sized build! What this release contains is the game's intro, plus a small amount of content to explore in Haven's Port, after the intro. Currently, there is only a single job (working at the bar), a single shop (the clothing shop), and only a couple of sex encounters (masturbating in your room and the menu+ option at the bar job). This is because I had to spend most of the development time this month hashing out the technical stuff that goes along with any new game. 

Expect the true Build 1 (next month) to have an additional 30 or so renders, representing quite a bit more to do around Haven's Port. This release is purely for patrons, to show off some bits of the new game! Not to mention there being quite a few systems that are essentially ready, but effectively turned-off at the moment. Time passing, for example, is something I've already worked out but chose not to turn on in this teaser release, simply because there's no content yet that would be affected by it. Likewise, since the Reputation System is still under development, I left the Character Screen disabled, since the only thing that shows up in it currently is a render of what you're currently wearing, which you can see in the Inn Room anyway.

Other quick things to note: I've set the starting money stupidly high for now, so you don't have to mess with earning it (aside from wanting to see the scenes :-p). And, on a similar note, because there's so little currently to do, I haven't gated any of the scenes. In the Bar Job for example, normally you'll need to hit certain levels of comfort with your sexuality (via the Reputation System) before getting access to the sexier scenes.

With all of those warnings about what isn't here yet...I think it's still a good representation of what is to come! And there's some good stuff here! The Wardrobe System has already been partially implemented, a few of the locations are shown, I think the intro does a pretty solid job of setting the scene, and the renders are pretty high quality (all rendered at 2k). It's also, thankfully, a pretty small download (less than 150mb). So give it a shot :-)! I actually intend for this to eventually be browser-playable,  rather than needing to download it at all, in order to finally have one of my games work on mobile. Unfortunately, I'm still having some technical issues with that aspect... I need to read some documentation to see what I'm doing wrong :-p. For now, here are download links for the Teaser Build!
