Alright, I meant to post this last night, but some issues came up that set my whole day of progress back several hours. Development related issues, not life, to be clear. Specifically, the highly-unstable heavily-modded copy of Skyrim that I get my captures from decided, between one day and the next (and without be changing ANYTHING) to explode. One of the most critical mods I use corrupted itself somehow, so I spent something like 3 hours just getting everything bludgeoned back into semi-functionality again.
Having said that, this progress report is actually mostly good news. I finished the programming side of the mini-game content (well, the core of it, which was the hard part), yesterday (Thursday, to be clear). It took almost 3 days longer to get that done than I'd originally planned for, but it IS done. Likewise, by the time I wrap up tonight, I'll have images/video assets for 7 additional scenes, in addition to the roughly 11 that make up the mini-game. Meaning that the Build should actually be a fairly high scene count, at around 18 scenes. Hopefully, I can edits all the assets tomorrow (technically later today, now) and start programming them on the 29th. To be brutally honest, I'm already expecting that this build is going to be slightly late again. If I hadn't so badly misjudged the time the mini-game would take to make (I misjudged the sheer complexity badly), that wouldn't be the case. As I did, it's likely that the release will be on the 1st or 2nd, not the 30th. If this were a 31 day month that might not be the case...but it's not.
So, nice big release, with lots of Thieves Guild content. But possible a little late. Technically, I could cut a couple of scenes and make it on-time, but the voting about that sort of thing last month was utterly unambiguous, with you lot making it clear you'd rather see good-sized polished updates over exact delivery dates. (So long, of course, as my delivery dates don't slip all that much). Ergo, I'm sticking to my plan to get all Priority One content for this build done and in! And, technically, if everything goes perfectly it could still even be out on the 30th. That's just...not very likely based on base experience... ;-).
