July Story Reward Poll

Alright! So, I have a bit of a confession to make. Due to the horrible underestimation of the time required for the new mini-game in Chastity Quest's Build 5, I haven't even started on June's Story Reward. Nor do I see much realistic chance it will actually get done before the end of June. Which doesn't meant it won't get done. In fact, I'm actually planning to try to make it extra-long as some compensation for it being late. However! Ultimately, this post is only indirectly about that delay. 

I'm sure you've all noticed by now that the Story Reward tends to be the one things that slips the most often. Something, frankly, I'm not happy about. Moreover, changes in which games I've developed are partly at fault for this. When I was working on Cosplay Cafe + The Dungeon of Lewdity, doing the Story Reward at the end-of-month was the best time. When that shifted to DoL+Chastity Quest...frankly there wasn't a good time, so I left it as it was. However, with Chastity Quest + Haven's Port now being the development set, things have shifted around a bit. The one time of the month I actually have extra hours I could safely (as it, not negatively affecting work on the games) spend on the Story Reward is not at the start of the month. This is because, at the beginning of the month, I'm running renders without anything to code while they are on-going. That's only true for maybe the first 5 days of a month, but it is true for that period.

As such, as of July, I'm going to be moving the Story Reward into the first half of the month, which means voting for it will happen at the end of the month previous. Normally, I will be pulling up the poll around the 20th, to account for stories that need a follow-up poll. Due to not having decided to pull the trigger on that change, I'm once again excluding The Elven Maid from July's story options. Hopefully, with the new arrangement, I will never have to do so again. But there simply wouldn't be enough time as-is for the follow-up poll if I want to take advantage of the time-block rearrangement I'm doing.

With that long-winded explanation out of the way...here are the $5+ Story Reward Options for July. Keep in mind that the Mass Effect option is going to get a solidly sized update from the June rewards, so the description doesn't reflect exactly what will happen in it if it wins July's as well :-P.

Fanfiction: Mass Effect: The Final Error:  After the second installment of this, things have really started to run off-rails a bit from cannon.
