Notice of Goal Update
Added 2020-09-07 10:14:40 +0000 UTCSo, I'll likely have an update on how the Haven's Port build is going tomorrow. But today, I needed to make a change that's been a month or two in coming. Specifically, the $500 goal for the Patreon was no longer practical. Up until now, it was that I would add sound to Chastity Quest at that level of support. Unfortunately, we've now gotten so far into Chastity Quest (roughly 150 scenes as of Build 7) that it's no longer realistically possible for me to add sound to most of the scenes. It would simply be too time consuming, when I'm already pushing the ragged edge of how much content I can put out per month with my current resources/setup. As such, while Chastity Quest will likely get basic Background Music and such sooner or later, it's highly unlikely that the sex scenes will get sound support.
That much, I've known for a month or two. What I hadn't been able to decide upon was what to replace the goal with. As I stated, I'm already pushing the very limits of what I can put out per month with my current output levels. After long debate, the best I could come up with is the new $500 goal, which states that I'll put out an additional short of some sort each month at that point. Mostly, it would likely be one-off short stories, since I have plenty of ideas for those floating around. In more ambitious months, however, it might well be a short-format TWINE game (something very linear with limited or no graphics) or a mixed-media short where I used existing art (preferably royalty free stuff, renders, or art I've made myself) for a small story. In example, there remains some unused art from Cosplay Cafe, made towards the point I put that work on Hiatus and thus decent quality, that could show up repurposed for a mixed-media short or small TWINE choose your own adventure...
Sorry if this disappoints anyway :-(. Unfortunately, I have to work with the reality in front of me, rather than the reality I wish existed.
