Short Story Reward - September

I've simply been burned out badly enough that I was having trouble finishing the sex scene, which is normally the easiest part to write. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the result, in the end. I have a lot of ideas for this series...but I wanted to go with something quintessentially sci-fi feeling for he first introduction. And I think I achieved that.
Anyway...even if it's a bit late in the month for this...at least you're getting an extra! Though, it's currently a somewhat incomplete extra...
Said extra is, of course, the art of the protagonist for this series! The images attached to the post are VERY unfinished. I simply haven't been able to spare more than a few minutes here or there to work on them. As such, they are largely unshaded and haven't been cleaned up properly. Heck, even the colors haven't been completely finalized. I'm still waffling between the Blue/Purple, Red/Black, and Black/Purple Versions of the suit, and considering making her hair a two-tone affair as well. Maybe I'll put it to a vote? We'll see. Hopefully, by the time this gets a second part, I'll have been able to work it out more.
As for the story itself. it clocked in at just shy of 5k words. As usual, it's in an attached PDF!
P.S. I'm still not overly happy with the story's name/title. If anyone wants to make suggestions, I'll consider them!
