IMPORTANT! All Patrons please read and vote!

Alright folks, given how important this is, I'm going to try and keep the critical bits short so that more of you will actually read it. Last month, I informed all of you that I was hitting the point that I could no longer continue full-time development unless I found a way to raise more funds. The good news is that, in light of some improvement to the Patreon funding AND some upcoming overhauls I'm planning for the Patreon page and reward tiers, I've decided to push on with the current development cycle for another month, at least. That said...the contingency planning I've done for how to handle a reduction in the number of hours I can spend on the games highlighted an ongoing issue, and the way I was considering fixing it may be something worth implementing even if I manage to stick it out at full-time development for the long haul.

Essentially, the problem is that both games I'm working on are seriously time-intensive...and use utterly different pieces of software, codebases, and so on. Essentially, just as I'm getting a running start at one...I have to stop and rush to finish it's build in order to have enough time to completely switch gears for the other. This is the primary cause of the release schedules constantly slipping, and it's also what makes it almost impossible to scale back development should I need to take up additional day job stuff in order to do important things like pay rent.

The solution I was planning to offer was simply. Essentially, that I would stop trying to update both games every month, and instead go for larger updates of each game and stagger them every other month. This has obvious downsides, in that releases for any one game would be two months apart. However, it has an equally large upside in that each update would be SIGNIFICANTLY larger. As in, at full-time hours, the size of the builds would likely nearly double. So 30-40 scenes for Chastity Quest per build, and 20-24 for Haven's Quest. It would also make my scheduling a heck of a lot easier, as well as cut down on how much any single problem could cause delays. It would also scale easier, should I need to do so in the future.

Of course...there's also a joker in the deck. If I did this, I would need to adjust both games to the same reward tier, which would mean moving Haven's Port from a $3 reward to a $5 reward. To be brutally honest...it actually shouldn't be a $3 reward as is. I outlay an average of $150 per month for Haven's Port development, making it by far the more expensive game to produce. It's only in the slot it is because it replaced The Dungeon of Lewdity in the development cycle.

While I've put back any plans to scale back time for another month, at least, at the end of the day, it occurred to me that a lot of people might actually PREFER the larger updates. As such, I decided it is time for an ALL Patrons poll, to see where everyone stands. NOTHING WILL CHANGE for November, regardless of this poll. November will be done on the current development pattern. This poll will run until the middle of November...BE SURE TO ACTUALLY READ AND UNDERSTAND the options before voting. If you need anything clarified, PLEASE ASK! Either in the comments or via direct message!
