Chastity Quest - Progress Report

Now, having those reminders out of the way, I haven't updated all of you since before Christmas on how Chastity Quest is going. That's mostly because of the numerous other posts that needed to be done...and at this point the release of the build is almost ready anyway...but I'll still do one last update post so everyone knows what's going on!

The news is, thankfully, largely good. I've already completed all the scenes, with just a little bit of writing/editing left to go before I shift to testing. I've even already done about 80% of the editing, having worked on it as I went this time, since I know it always throws my time estimates off if I do it all at the end. The only bad news is that I did cut the scene count down from 32 to 30. I probably could have squeezed in the additional two scenes, but I didn't want to chance it. I'm absolutely determined for this to be out on the 31st. As in, downloadable/playable online by the AFTERNOON of the 31st, not a last-minute 11:59 pm  upload. With that in mind, I cut the last set of 8 scenes a bit short (down to 6) in order to make sure I'll have the time needed. Thankfully, it's looking very good for that working out, assuming nothing goes horribly wrong in the testing phase. Which...is technically possible, as the stupid engine forced me to update it, and there's always a chance that the updates broke something major. I hope not...

Anyway! I wonder if anyone guessed what the images for the post are about? The answer is something I've been keeping secret for a while ;-). There was one last location to add to New Landing before it was complete, something I had planned from the very start of working on New Landing. A bondage gear shop! 'Struggles in Pink' is the other 'job' that was always intended to be available in New Landing, in addition to the Brothel and Pony Express Courier service. I'm a little unhappy that it's taken so long to add it in, but I decided early on that the Main Questlines for the city took precedence since it was fairly easy to earn money at the other two jobs. Now, however, it's finally going to be added, and it works a lot like working at the Blacksmith Shop in Hope's Rest, only with a bit more of a random factor and somewhat kinkier ^_^. I think everyone will like it!
