Poll Results and General Updates

Okay! First thing is first, poll results! Technically, I could have put these up on the first, but I was having a bit of a lazy day after all the hecticness of the CQ release + Holiday stuff. Got a little done on a couple of things, but mostly just took it easy.

The Short Story Poll:
The results this time show how different the weighed values make the polls. While the winner would have won (barely) even without the weighted values...the difference got a lot more stark once they were figured in. The total votes for each story were:

Winner - Galactic Nomad: 61.7

Mass Effect: Final Error: 26.7

Transformation Estate: 10

DoL: Origins: 9.7

Obviously, Galactic Nomad came out on top, and will be the first story guaranteed to update. Though that will be only after the one that didn't get finished for December is put up. More on that in a bit. As a last note, I'm in a kinda sci-fi mood at the moment, so there's a good chance that the second story of the month will be the runner-up for the poll, Mass Effect: Final Error. No certainty of that, however, since I have other sci-fi stuff to do this month and it may burn out my muse before I get to the second story. We'll see.

The Focus Poll:

This one surprised me a little! Considering that Chastity Quest won the race for being the first story to be updated on the new dev cycle, I had actually expected the Chastity Content option to win. I guess the people interested Haven's Port are less into that specific fetish? Either way, the victory went to:

Additional BDSM and Transformation Scenes - This would essentially mean that I'd dedicate the time not spent on the Pirate Job and a few World Events, to providing more options to use the BDSM gear in-game, as well as more places/ways that the Futa and Fairy Transformations can be used.

So, that's what I'll do! I haven't sorted out the exact split I'll use, since the Pirate Job itself also has some BDSM elements at it's lower tiers. I'll get that worked out over the next week or so, while I work on getting the foundation of the Pirate Job done.

Other Stuff:

So...the only reward I didn't manage to squeeze into December properly was the second short story. I actually have about a thousand words of it done and intend to put in another 2,000 or so tonight. As it's a one-off (probably), it doesn't have as much world/character building as I try to sneak into my other stories, with the result that it probably won't be more than 4k words. As such, I'm hoping to wind it up tomorrow, and edit/publish it on the 5th.

The other thing I've been knocking out early is the next set of HD Wallpapers for the $20 folks. I'm just about done with the SFW wallpaper, with maybe one or two tweaks left to do on bits of the scene. I've got a loose plan for the NSFW one, but haven't gotten it started yet. The goal for those is to have them out by the 10th at the latest, and preferably sooner than that. Likewise, I've had the basic outline of the second Alternate World Comic done since late November. The second one is a Sci-Fi alternate world. For those that don't remember, my plan is the do three comics in three worlds...then let the $20 folks pick which one of those worlds gets farther comics each month! I'll be aiming to get the comic release out sometime between the 15-20th.

As for the main content for the month, the Haven's Port release. I'm shooting for a target size of around 24 scenes, with the goal to be released on the 30th or 31st. The release will focus on the Pirate Job at, per the above-listed focus poll, more BDSM/Transformation scene options. The goal with it will also be to flesh out the Starter Island to the point that the following build (in March) will introduce the ability to travel to the Main Island in the chain! In some ways, I wish I could introduce that in this build...but the Pirate Job was always supposed to be done before that for various developmental reasons.
