Steamworld Comic ($10 Patron Release)

Royalty Tier Patrons, you have your own post, with the release of the Cyberworld Comic.

Salutations Guys and Gals!

As I mentioned in my previous progress report, I've decided to release comics to $10 patrons, albeit at a 2-month delay. Much like how the Short Stories work, there will always be 2 Exclusive Comics for Royalty Tier patrons. Meanwhile, once the exclusive 2-month period has passed for a comic, I will release it to the $10 tier. I didn't make this decision lightly, as the comic was intended to be the largest single draw to the higher $20 tier... Buuuutttt frankly I've found it seriously depressing for the comics I put so much work into to only ever be available to, like, 3 people. That said, the comics are never going to be released to tiers lower than the $10 tier (unless something major changes), due to the fact that they are actually kind of expensive to make. Each comic so far has cost me between $30-$50 in new assets...and even that cost is only because I'm reusing a LOT of assets I've gathered for other project over the years, in order to make them less hideously expensive. Strictly speaking, there's actually probably something in the order of 200-400 dollars worth of assets used in each comic.

Enough of that, though. A bit about the comic itself! Each of the comics is, as I've mentioned before but you may not remember, an Alternate Universe for the Haven's Port protagonist (whose default name is Alexia). This first one was/is a Steam Punk alternate world. It was also my very first attempt at a comic ever.  As such, it was unsurprisingly a bit short, as well as having some significant flaws that I've worked on with the two follow on comics, Startworld and Cyberworld. At 23 pages, it's only around half the length of the other two, for one thing. And for another, I had done the first comic at 720p image quality. So, HD quality...barely. I wasn't happy with the end result, image quality wise, and thus Starworld and Cyberworld were both bumped up to 1080p.

That said, despite it's flaws, I'm pretty proud of the comic and I enjoyed the Steampunk world I built for it. As well as the new character featured :-p. Enjoy! I hope...

Note: PDF vs Zip File

For all comics, I've taken to providing both a PDF version and a version with Zipped PNGs. The Zip file is, frankly, the higher quality image option in every case. However, the PDF may be more convenient for many people. So I provide both. Additionally of note, the original no-text renders are available only in the Zip file version.

Edit: Patreon is being a slow little bitch about the upload for some reason (despite the fact that it's only like 100 mb). Here's a temporary GDrive link for the Zipped version:
