Progress Report

Alright, I'm stealing a few minutes of time to do this, so I'll keep it short.

First, the Andrea of the Silver Key: Dating and Demonstrations is just about done. I need to put some finishing touches on the sex scenes then edit it. It should be out sometime on the 27th, hopefully. There's a reason it's taken so long, but I'll save the explanation for the release post.

Second, Chastity Quest. Ugh. Hopefully, you've all read about the major issue that popped up. As I honestly half-expected, despite me harassing them in every way I could, I haven't gotten even so much as an acknowledgment out of the support people for Visual Novel Maker. Which means I've been stuck frantically going through every single scene in the entire game, manually resetting every single one of over 2,000 images and videos. I've already fixed all of Hope's Rest and the new stuff that makes up The College of Allund, but New Landing is a slog. There's so much content there that, so far, I've only gotten through the Adventurer's Guild and most of the Brothel. I'm going to spend several more hours on it tonight. And I think I can get all the broken images/videos manually re-linked by the morning of the 28th. Unfortunately, while I've already done the editing, I haven't been able to test/bugfix the new content yet.

Worse, it takes upwards of 12 hours to get Chastity Quest uploaded to all the various places it needs to be for release. At best. Uploads are much slower than downloads, and I need to upload two versions of it (at almost 10gb) to a minimum of three separate places before I can actually post the release. Usually, four places. (MASV, Web Release, GDrive, Mega/Anon). In total, I have to upload something like 80 gb worth of data T-T. 

Net result? Unless an outright miracle happens, I'm probably not going to be able to actually release Build 12 until at least the 1st. Possibly even the second. I purely hate that, particularly because this bullshit disaster has meant that the build is also smaller than it should have been, by at least 5 scenes worth of content AND the music I wanted to add. Fuck. I've been trying really really hard not to let game release deadlines slip at all since switching to the new dev cycle. Unfortunately, as this was caused by a non-optional software update from the engine's maker, there's literally nothing I could go about it. I'm sorry guys and gals, I promise it will be out as soon as I can physically get everything fixed. :-(
